Hi everyone! We are planning a last minute trip to DW in Feb with myself, DH, DD (4 years), and DD (2 Years). We are really excited to be going. Here is my question.....we were planning on going Feb 11-15 or so, but as I was reading info, it says the middle of Feb is peak time. But it also said the beginning of Feb is not busy at all. What is the busy-ness difference between the first week in Feb and the second week in Feb? The second week in Feb works out better with my DH's work schedule, but we don't want to be in hour long lines with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Thanks in advance for any info.

We went in mid February last year and it wasn't bad at all. The parks were open a little bit later and we used fast pass. Most rides were manageable, except the usual ones that you always wait on had about a 40 min wait (SPLM, SPMN, BTMRR).

I believe peak time starts Presidents Day week as most of the schools in the northeast are on vacation that week. You should be OK with your dates since they are the week before!!!

we always go in Feb. before President's Day and we have very low crows -- top wait is usually 20 minutes. I would avoid President's week, the crowds are high and the prices of rooms go up the Wed. before Presidents Day.

I'm also planning on being there at that time. (Feb 8 through Feb 15) I'm not expecting any huge crowds since it's before the President's week break. I MIGHT have some problems at the airport when I leave on the 15th, but since people will be coming in while I'm leaving, I don't expect too many problems.

I was there through this period last year. I noticed a big difference in the crowds on Feb 9th, although having been to Disney at PEAK times, I can say pre-Feb 9th is dead...you'll walk on and off rides. Feb 9-15 is busy but not extremely crowded. Hopw this helps.

I would think the 11, 12 and 13 will be average days. Look for the 14 to start getting crowded. This is Valentine's Day and the last day of school for a lot of states in the Northeast, Saturday starts their winter Vacation.

With the cold and snow lots of Northerners are planning a trip south. We will be heading down on the 12. One of our DD was going to try and come down for the weekend. She checked into fights, no more direct flight available. Kind of silly for it to take a whole day to travel when your only staying a couple of days.

I agree. Our trip is 2/12 to 2/19. We're planning to do three parks on 2/13 and 2/14, 'cause I have a feeling it's gonna start to get crazy on the 15th! We'll definitely take the 15th (Sat) and the 17th (Pres. Day) off from the parks!
