Does anyone know if Disney has a way of breaking down the total vacation cost? MDE only shows me how much I owe. I would like to see how much the room costed, the tickets, dining, etc...

I searched and couldn't find anything aside from making a new reservation and noting the costs

That would be the only way to do it...if the offer that you originally booked is still available. The costs of each component of the package are visible during the booking process but once you are booked, you will only see the package price.

If you call they should be able to break it down for you, although you'll need to do the math on each thing item by item, including finding the tax

Tickets and dining are pretty much a set cost so you look at ticket prices on the website to find that out. For DDP, multiply the plan price per person/per night X the amount of people X the amount of nights. Then, take what's left and divide it by the amount of nights and there is your room cost per night. I realize tax might get a little messed up here but it will still give you a very good idea.
