Child porn and pedophilia are big problems in Central Florida. It always makes me sad when the news will have a 10 second blurb about a school teacher arrested for it, but if they can target someone in the tourist industry (and Disney moreso than Universal or Seaworld) it hits the front page.

A couple weeks after we got back from our October 2008 trip there was a story on our local news about a Disney Grandfather arrested in a child porn ring (14 total arrested). He worked at the Animal Kingdom gift shop and was holding my 16 month old daughters hand, while I was holding her, telling her how beautiful her eyes are and then bent down and said the same thing to my 5 year old. It still creeps me out.

Always wonder why they never seem to target the people actually producing the pictures that these people download on their computers? With all the existing technology could they not just somehow identify the ORIGINAL websites and get those off the Web???

Unfortunately the days of direct web downloads have migrated to modern Torrent based systems where pieces of files are downloaded from many resources, it's not a simple 1:1 scenario anymore.
