To say we had a fabulous time would be an understatement and this story illustrates it best. My DH, who wasn't all too thrilled about the $, etc. for the cruise, said to me on Monday afternoon as we were lounging alone by the pool, "You know, we should do this every year." I said, "Take a vacation by ourselves?" He said, "No, go on a cruise at Spring Break." I nearly fainted! (Of course, we're booked for 2010! I didn't waste any time on that.) My DD practically stayed in the Oceaneer's Club and DS only spent the Castaway Cay day with us. EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING was first-rate all the way, though the pools were very crowded on the first day. We weren't too thrilled with the Parrot Cay menu/food the first night, but we ended up with Triton's twice and then Animator's on the last night. Those are fabulous restaurants, so I think Parrot Cay is more like "downscale", but some people prefer that. The only thing I never saw posted on these boards is the departure breakfast times. Some early dinner seating folks were scheduled for a 6:30 a.m. breakfast on Thursday. I would not have cared for that and luckily we had the late seating so our breakfast time was 7:45. We could have eaten at Beach Blanket, but we enjoyed our last morning in Animator's with DD, who joined us for a change! :lovestruc We had a verandah room and the view was absolutely breathtaking. This forum was extremely helpful in preparing us for our cruise, but if anyone has any questions that you haven't seen answered, I'll be happy to answer them.:goodvibes

p.s. I got lots of good ideas for door magnets here. DD and DS loved the ones on our door, as did many others who passed by and commented on them. It was extra nice that DD could easily find our room on her own since she always wanted to be the "line leader" when we walked down the hall.:lmao:

Glad your first trip was so "Wonderful."

My husband was the same way as yours, never wanting to cruise and ceertainly not wanting to spend the extra$ to do Disney. Our first trip was the Wonder in Nov 2007 and by day 2 DH was insisting we book again and for nothing less than a 7 day :lmao::cool1::banana:. We leave for our 2nd cruise June 6th, trust me if you aren't talking about the one you just took you'll be talking about the next one till its here.:cloud9:

Glad you had such a great trip. Wish you could persuade my DH to rebook onboard - October will be our second cruise and, when I mentioned rebooking this time and not missing out on the opportunity again, he said no chance! But we both know we WILL cruise again - we love it so much :thumbsup2
