Disney Wonder September 11th, 2017

Does anyone know if there will be a pirate night during our cruise? Fireworks? Is there a dressy night? I'm also curious about photo packages, seems hard to find prices.... Thanks for any input

In 2014 we had the fireworks and pirate night on deck. I doubt there will be a specific dressy night, but that doesn't mean you can't dress up.

Hi there, just booked and super excited. It will be my wife and I, plus our four boys (10, 9, 7,6).
This will be our second Disney cruise, first time on the Wonder ( dream last time). We are planning on doing a b2b, just haven't booked the other one yet. We are Coming from Portland and taking the train. We aren't even going to tell our kids and just tell them we are going to Canada. I can't wait to see their faces when we pull up to the cruise! Can't wait to meet everyone.

Hi everyone :) I forgot to look for the cruise meet. It it will be my mom and I, this will be our 10th cruise, all on DCL, absolutely love it! Does anyone know a good hotel near the port?

Vancouver offers lots of hotel choices depending on your budget. The compact downtown means most hotels are close together with cab fares less than $10 to the cruise port. Looking at Booking.com in USD for availability on Sept 10th....
  • $86 YWCA
  • $155 Days Inn » 3 blocks from cruise terminal, check online reviews for potential issues
  • $183 Blue Horizon » a forum fav for value travelers, great Robson street restaurants and shops
  • $191 Empire Landmark » great Robson street restaurant and shops
  • $221 Rosedale » suites!
  • $226 Holiday Inn downtown
  • $248 Metropolitan
  • $284 Auberge » 3 blocks from cruise terminal
  • $305 Carmana Plaza
  • $317 Sutton Place
  • $320 Westin Grande
  • $328 Sheraton Wall Centre
  • $328 Westin Bayshore
  • $328 Hampton Inn » fav for Hilton Point collectors
  • $361 Delta » 5 blocks from cruise terminal with suites!
  • $382 Shangri-La
  • $385 Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront
  • $389 Pan Pacific » you get to sleep above the cruise terminal.
  • $440 Four Seasons
  • $443 Hyatt Regency
  • $473 Fairmont Waterfront » you sleep across the street from the cruise terminal. Check out the Mr. Gray upgrade.
  • $527 Rosewood
  • $573 Fairmont Pacific Rim » 3 blocks from cruise terminal
Thoughts
  • YWCA and Blue Horizon for savings. Budget an extra $10 for cab ride to the cruise terminal
  • Delta or Pan Pacific for short luggage drag for me.

This will be our first cruise. Where on this site can we find available Fish Extender groups? I can't seem to find anywhere. Also, would that be appropriate for our 4 and 2 year olds?

We are locals...we stayed at the Days Inn for a Christmas staff party...very basic hotel, but close to the port and fairly inexpensive for downtown Vancouver.

I just got off the Fantasy on Feb. 11th and already had the itch to get back on another boat, so I just booked this yesterday! It will be my husband and I alone this time to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. This is our 4th Disney Cruise.

Thank you. I looked at this many times but ended up booking a bed and breakfast near Stanley Park. We'll get there Saturday night and have all Sunday to play. I'm excited :cool1:

I understand that itch all too well!

Hello All! This is our 3 Disney cruise and very excited. My daughter is excited to be back on board. :stitch2:

Not out here much anymore, really in the last several years (had to leave Neverland and be an adult for a while.) I'm excited to be on this cruise because it will elevate me to "GOLD." Also just became a DVC member. YES.
