Hi!
(just thought I'd chime in since I'm here)
Awwwe you're back.. we missed you.

Hi!
(just thought I'd chime in since I'm here)
As cheap as the trans atlantic cruises are...I don't think you could pay me to spend that many days at sea....![]()
Oh... I would love it but DH would never go for it.![]()
Hahahaha you guys are killin me.....
Jen, you can take that outta yer sig..I figured it out. But if we add someone, there needs to be a way for me to find it easily.
I am buying one FE gift for each room/group of people and then probably getting a bunch of little piddlypoo stuff for each of the kids.
So knowing that there are 23 groups participating in the FE and a total of 20 kids really helps me know what to buy. Seeing a giant list of names and ages, just makes me think of bunnies, waffles and then it all gets lost.....
I would actually like that here too..... # "groups" # Adults # Kids participating in the FE.
DON'T TALK ABOUT THE OTHER CRUISE HERE!!!! THEY WILL FREAK OUT AND GET MAD AT YOU!!!! SHHHHHHHH!!!!!
TOO LATE!![]()
What was the topic to get off of? lolOK, now, with regards to the trans-atlantic...here is the show stopper for most folks: Airfare.
We wanted to do the FL to Spain or Spain to FL cruise on the Magic this year. It was really cheap (by our standards). Queue airfare. The cheapest airfare we could find (and we are really really good at finding a bargain) would still end up being more than the cruise.
And unlike DCL, a kids seat is full fare on a plane. So airfare with fees and stuff, be it from here to Spain or Spain to here? $800 each. That's $2400 for our little trio. Add to that the $2200 for the cruise and it gets a bit much for 7-10 days. I know to each their own, but I can think of a lot of things I'd rather do with $4600 (+ whatever we spend) than a vacation.
Anyway, just wanted to share that experience on pricing the trans-atlantic cruise with ya....plus a little op/ed, sorry 'bout that.
I knew it was true what they said about 3-day cruisers!
Muahahahahahahahah!![]()
I'm totally considering the Transatlantic or if they do the Panama Canal one again (cheaper airfare)...one of these days. What was the topic to get off of? lol
I looked too. I did find the flying round trip was MUCH cheeper than flying one way. I cant remember what the price was but I was shocked with how cheap it was. And considering that I am paying $6,000 for this trip, $4,600 wouldnt be that bad considering that you are getting 2 weeks instead of 1 and you are going to visit Spain as well (and other countries in Europe if you wanted to). I just wonder if they will do it in 2012. They are having sale after sale on the cruises over there. They might just decide to find somewhere else that is more popular.
Wait...
what?
There's ANOTHER cruise???
and here I thought they built the cruise ship just for us...

Not only that, but since you guys can't come up with a name, I'm callin it the same thing! "Breezin' to the Bahamas"!!!
Might as well since to Jen, myself and a few others its all one big cruise ;-)
Sounds good to me...so long as y'all provide airfare/cruise tickets to the other cruise as well!Oh oh oh! I know!!!!
We could call it..... "Breezin' to the Bahamas.....again"
Whatcha think?![]()
