Hi guys! Need some help. Prior to our next cruise with DCL we are going to Disney. If I get a bottle of wine at Epcot and bring it on board-Do I have to finish it before we get off? I thought I read something about that but cant find it . Anyone know?

I think you do have to finish it. I can't remember where I read it but I'm sure someone out here on the DIS would know for certain.

I was trying to look through my passporter, but I can't find the answer. I am 99% sure you would have to finish it. You CAN definitely take it off if it isn't opened.

Thanks guys!!!!! I felt more comfortable asking you guys than the "other" cruise people.

Today.. man-o-man.. it was a doozy!

Awhile ago I booked a flight for my brother to fly home for a few days in August.
He called the bank today to find out when that flight was for to let his boss know.. I didn't know off the top of my head and can't access e-mail at work so I called Southwest.

The lady was having THE hardest time trying to find the flight even though I gave her the purchasing credit card information. She kept telling me no such flight existed then she got quiet and said "Well.. there is a flight in August.." and I was like, "Thats it!"
SWA: "Uhm. That flight is for Columbus, OH to Orlando, Fl. Not the other way around."
I thanked her, asked for the confirmation number because part of me didn't believe her.... hung up the phone.. went over to my computer and plugged the confirmation number into the SWA page and then proceeded to freak the heck out. I'd really screwed it up.

After about five minutes of staring at the computer screen I started to tear up. I'm such a baby. Really, I am. I love my brother so much and the thought that I'd ruined a) his only chance to come home for awhile and b) another chance to get to hang out with him... was overwhelming. Leaving Orlando was overwhelming. This whole week back was overwhelming.

So I started crying. I had to sit on the floor and try to collect myself. Did I mention I'm a big baby?
My boss walks by and instantly she's worried (who wouldn't be? lol) and I tried to explain it was no big deal and one of the other tellers told her I'd screwed up Greg's flight and was upset with myself for making such a careless mistake. Too true.
Once I collected myself I called Greg in Orlando and told him and he sounded really disappointed. He said "Oh, okay. I've gotta go,then." and that was it. It actually made me feel worse. Which brought on more tears.

So my boss took the print-off I'd made of the screwed up flights from my station.. and called SWA. (I was still in lala land when she did this)
She said she told them who she was and that she had a very distraught employee who was in tears. She explained the situation (I'd booked CMH-MCO and back instead of MCO-CMH and back) and told her that this was a ticket I had purchased for my older brother. She told the lady that she knew, personally, how upset i had been since he left and how close we were and how much this visit meant to me. She also told the lady she knew I didn't make a lot of money (hello, she's my boss-- she should know) and that I had spent at least half of one of my checks on that flight and there was no way I could afford to buy another or make the changes to that one. So she said "Debra, what can you do to help me help my employee?"

Debra changed the flights for no charge.

My boss came behind the teller line and snuck up behind me ( I was waiting on a customer) and said "I know you're not a hugging person... but you're going to want to hug me. The flights have been changed to the way they're meant to be, no charge." and smiled.
I hugged her! And I cried.

I'm such a baby.

Wow, Patsy.....what a great boss!
And I love your new Rink pic, btw.

Awww Patsy, I'm so sorry you had a bad day! It's great to hear it all worked out in the end, it sounds like your boss is wonderful! I am so happy she stepped up for you and helped you out! Hang in there! :goodvibes :grouphug:

OK NOT as bad as Patsy's but. Someone accessed by Paypal account and bought a bracelet for $190. For some reason Paypal put a hold on it and when I called they said they would send my money back. Paypal people were nice.
People are such A@#*#@ES.

People are crapheads.

I had a girl come in the bank today-- someone stole her purse out of her cart at Wal*Mart the night before.
SS card, credit cards, driver's license, checkbook, debit card-- the whole shebang.
I had to call our internal number and try to convince them she was who she was (she had no ID to show me :sad2: ) so they would put a fraud hold on her account.

The jerk had already done several hundred dollars worth of charges!

Sometimes my job makes me sad about the state of the world we live in.. because I see stuff like that and worse every single day! :confused3

Oh Vicki! YIKES! How'd they access it? Was your password easy to figure out? Will they find out who it was?? What a nightmare!

Glad you're being reimbursed!

Hi Patsy! How's it going? Things are quiet around here lately! :sad1:
