Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006

Hi Lori! How've you been??

I think Dawn, Erica and possibly Heidi & family are interested in the west coast itineraries.

Some of us are debating different Wonder sailings for either June or September of 08.

I tried to tell my dad that it was my mom's idea to do the repo cruise but he wasn't buying it!

I am watching American Idol and it never fails to amaze me that people are

a. stupid enough to think they can sing
b.stupid enough to know they can't and still want to be on tv looking like a moron

I actually really don't like the idea of American Idol...but I was with my friends and I'll watch it with them just to make fun of some people! If you were paying attention at the very end the second person they showed (a guy...named Jose) that was going to Hollywood is my friend's friend! We were all excited for her cause she was like I know him!! YAY HE MADE IT TO HOLLYWOOD!!!!

Sorry we missed you! Some nights, we're all up late. Not last night.

The funniest part of the Allseas calls for me was that I had already known that the Magic was going to be in California. They thought they were telling me something NEW! From what we've read here, there aren't going to be any 7 night Caribbean cruises for the next few years.

Awww, I'm sorry. I don't think I could do a Caribbean cruise in the summer, anyway. Matt's grandfather is increasingly sicker, so we're definitely going to go to California for the next two years. Unless we don't get vacation! There's a chance that Matt'll get a new job and we won't get vacation time for 12 months. I told him I'd divorce him if he made me miss my Disney time! But he told me that if he gets this job, we'll be able to afford Disneyland *and* a 7 day cruise *and* visit his grandfather in 2008, so it's all good.

LOL More snow this weekend. This is the most snow I've ever seen in a winter here and I'm a native! The good news is that the snow shovel fairies keep visiting us. Every time it snows, we get a snowdrift (DEEP, probably four feet) on the sidewalk, and it's tough to dig out so we do it a little at a time. But the last two weeks, we leave home with the job half done and when we get home the sidewalk is mysteriously clear! I wish they'd dig out the backyard--the play equipment is buried. LOL

Sorry I have not been around. I have not even tried to go back and catch up on what I have missed. Is anyone planning on going on the west coast cruises. We are so there. No airfare. We are just waiting to here if they are doing employee discounts. Doubtful but we are hoping. Anyone?

It has been a crazy winter. We went to Boston for Christmas and there was no snow. We came home and it snowed here where it has not snowed in 15 years. The kids loved it and it only lasted a little bit. My kind of snow.

And much better than earlier. He gave me percacet.. and I ended up having an allergic reaction so I was without pain meds for the entire trip home tonight.. It was horrible. I couldn't move, couldn't lift myself up.. my teeth were chattering. Much better now, though!

I had heard about the three shockers, too. Maybe the third one was McSteamy's decision to stay?!? I don't know.

Do you have someone staying with you? Are you on different pain meds now? It's great that you're here to update us!!

Hmm.. maybe. I guess I thought it'd be more shocking stuff?!

And yeah.. I have Lortabs now. I'm doing okay. I can move now.. unlike earlier. 6 hours in the car the day after surgery with no pain meds is NOT an enjoyable experience at all.. I was so miserable We got home and went to the pharmacy to pick up the new presciption.. I took a couple and about an hour later I can move again. Thank goodness.

Yes! I sorta figured Bailey was going to go to Izzy to fund her free clinic... but then they played it like Izzy just threw the idea out without Bailey even saying anything to her. I thought that was weird.

He said Sunday is the day that I'll remember why I wanted to have the surgery done in the first place.. and be excited. We'll see.

Keep me posted on your progress. I have a friend who had a tummy tuck and she really had a tough time in the beginning. A little while later, she was thrilled!! I am sure you'll be, too!

I agree! I think Bailey would be a great candidate for Cheif!

I was so excited when I got back to the hotel room last night and looked NORMAL in my shirt. It was a thrilling moment. Of course then, I was still on the surgery drugs so the pain hadn't really hit yet.. I love button down shirts and they usually always make gaps and you can see through. but man.. it was so nice to look NORMAL!
Then I took the Percacet.. had the allergic reaction (I'm still all itchy! ) and here I am now. I'm gonna go lay down, though.. I get energy but it goes away pretty quickly.. Night!
