 Hi Gang!

Tae Ja, Princesses on Ice was one of our all time favorite ice shows!

Rink looks adorable, Patsy! I bet Santa will bring him everything he wants! ;)

I'd love to see the Osborne lights, we've never seen them. I have heard they're really beautiful!

put the ornaments on and realized I have no first chrimstas ornaments for the boy and other dd. whoops, checking ebay now for past dated ornaments. :rolleyes1
Sometimes Hallmark stores have OLD ornaments out at the after-Christmas-half-price-sale. That might be a way to find the ones you need.

No DIS time since before Thanksgiving. Sorry...............
Good trip though.
Mother really liked the poetry book. She needed help remembering which way to sign the letters--Mom or Gramma. That was sad, seems like you will always remember which family members are your children and which are your grandchildren, but she was elevating the oldest granddaughter (not the oldest grandchild, but the oldest granddaughter) to be a daughter......
We had some good times though, she remembers me and my best friend and the owner of the restaurant and had some very appropriate and lucid moments.
Then on to PA for time with my kids. The almost-daughter-in-law is still a gem!! Her parents are DELIGHTFUL!! We (our boys, Sarah, DH and I) had Thanksgiving dinner with them, her sister, brother-in-law and nephew who stole the show with his smiles. Sarah and out boys left about 9 and we stayed until past 11. We felt very welcome.
We helped our older son with some work on his house and took the kids out to dinner a couple times. We drove back to Indy on Saturday.
I found a dress to wear to their wedding and ordered it--now, let's hope it fits!!! (diet--did anyone say diet???)

Hey everyone
Well the warm weather is officially over. It is freezing here now!!!! It has been snowing on and off all day too. Of course tomorrow is Sydney's field trip to the Christmas tree farm all day and lucky me won the lottery to chaperone :rolleyes1
Patsy, Rink is soooo cute. My dog would never sit still long enough for a picture with Santa plus she'd probably break his lap
Anyone elso having trouble with the Christmas shopping? I just can't seem to get motivated :sad2:

Hi!

Sorry to hear the snow is hitting you Suzanne, but I bet it's beautiful!

I am not motivated when it comes to Christmas shopping either. I'd much rather be sailing on DCL! :teeth: :wizard:

I took Teia to an orthopedist this past Friday. She's in a sling until the end of December. Thankfully, she's not in any pain but I think the novelty of wearing the sling is gone. :guilty:

Sounds awesome, can't wait to see your pics! Our village has some nautical pieces that make it look like a harbor around a water mat. I think Logan is going to put it up in the next few days.

We put our tree up Thanksgiving night and also have our ligths up outside. Our newest addition is a 12' inflatable snowman, he is adorable! :cloud9:
Now that is my kind of snow man!! Having spent 57 winters in northern states, I would love a warm one with inflatable snowmen and grass!

.....JAN- Did you see the Christmas tree lighting at all up close and personal, even from your shared balcony?
For those of you not aware, Indianapolis has a HUGE monument in the center of the city. In November they run strings of lights from the top to the bottom and light them on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We have lived here two Christmases but not seen it first turned on as we have been in PA with our sons. It is quite spectacular. The figure of the warrior--a woman with sword and shield on top of the monument-- seems to make a tree toper.

Two of the tallest buildings in Indianapolis are in direct line from our condo to the mounment so we cannot see it from our windows or from our roof-top deck, but we know where it is.

The WIND we got as part of that midwestern storm last week (but no snow here--yaay!!) took out power lines, tree limbs, knocked trucks off the interstates and ripped about a dozen of the lines of lights with garland on the monument so none are lit until they are all fixed.

Good day all!
