Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006 Part 4

Cheryl, we're heading to MNSSHP Friday evening, any tips? We ended up going as a theme.....Star Wars! I'm Princess Leia, Lionel is a Jedi, Dina (friend, Mom of Riley) is Luke (I don't know, she suggested it), Riley (Godson) is Darth Vader, and Rhys (Riley's little bro) is going as a tiny Jedi but he looks like a Jawa.

I PROMISE to post pics. Should be a hoot. I have to sew my costume at work tomorrow because I have no machine. I should make it a project for my patients.....

One tip if you like the parade There is a wall in front of Pecos Bill where you can sit and view the parade. It's a perfect spot. Make sure the little one has his candy bag ready because after the parade they come by and pass out tons of stuff. Actually this is a pretty good place to view Hallowishes. I love Disney Halloween. We have to get our pictures posted. By the way my 100th post. Yea!!!

I'm poking around on the MNSSHP threads inbetween finishing up my costume. I finished putting buns on my $5 Walmart wig tonight (hehe), and tomorrow at work I am adding a few finishing touches to the dress itself. With luck it will look something like this:

Considering posting a trip report for MNSSHP but I dunno.....it was not the night we were hoping for. Let this be a lesson: a childless Disney couple and a non-Disney friend with two non-Disney kids do not mix well at the Magic Kingdom. *sigh*

I have pics from photopass but I have no idea how to share them.

At one point in the evening I looked up at Lionel and said "I'm a PRINCESS!"

I love the pictures!! It sure looks like you were having fun. I can't believe how great your costumes look. I have a halloween party to go to next week and I never know what to do. Your costumes are awesome maybe I should try that?!!!The hair looks so real. Anyhow sorry it wasn't everything you hoped for but hope you managed to make some nice memories. Just think when you have your own peanut he/she WILL be Disney obsessed that's just a given
