And Patsy, OMG! What utter buttheads! I had something not as bad but similar happen once where I stopped in a redneck town to get gas. i didn't realize, but I was parked right next to the only Diesel pump. There was room to get to it, just not much. Well, a guy pulled up next to me while I was pumping and was STARING. This was about 5 years ago when I was still in my youthful 20's ( ) so naturally I thought it was because I was a cute young girl.

So he keeps staring and I try to ignore him, and then I go inside to pay. When I come back out, he starts yelling at me for not moving my car. I was like so I said um...... and he said he needed to get his giant truck into the diesel lane. I smiled as big and beautifully as I could manage, and politely informed him that I was very sorry to have inconvenienced him and that I would have happily moved had he said anything to me. He just kept glaring so I smiled again and said have a nice day!

I think that ticked him off more than anything. I liked when you said you gave them a big smile and rolled up the window. I love it!

Well, to top matters off.. this guy just chose the wrong week. I've already dealt with one crazy guy this week involving the police, It's midterm week, I'm working more hours and there is a lot of stress from people being sick and the girl who had to go to the hospital, and then he said PARENTS!
That was the biggest mistake

People just simply amaze me.

I understand that they haven't announced the 2008 dates but I wish they'd end the speculation and at least let us know when the dates will be out. If it's not going to be until next year, fine, just tell us! It's so frustrating waiting and wondering.

I see on some of the other threads that people have brochures with 2008 dates up until April. I keep checking the DCL site but there's nothing past 2007 yet.

Hope everyone is doing well here, sorry I'm such a lurker.

You probably already know this Lisa, but the brochures you've been reading about are the new 2007 - "2008" brochures that just became available to travel agents. I'm hoping mine come in today. Unfortunately, I think they are about to open up some 2008 dates for booking, but probably only the first months few like in the brochure. I'm beginning to believe that it will be the first of the year before summer 2008 is out. But that's just my guess.

I'm beginning to believe that it will be the first of the year before summer 2008 is out. But that's just my guess.

Great hearing from you Jessica. That's what I think, too. It kind of makes sense that only Jan - April would be available now, that's 18 months in advance. I'd read that's the norm for advanced bookings. Do you think they'll release future dates month by month or wait and release 3 months in January?


Of course, there's also the speculation of whether or not there will be a special itinerary for summer 2008 since it's DCL's 10 year anniversary.

It's hard to be patient.

Just my guess (and I hope I'm wrong), but I think they might release the rest of 2008 in March or so, like the did with the Med. cruises. I don't have a clue if there will be a special itinerary for 2008 or not, but it does seem logical since it the 10th anniversary. We'll just have to impatiently wait together! You know you will know as soon as I know, you know?!

If it's going to be March, it would be nice to know NOW so I can spend the deposit money on Christmas gifts and then worry about saving up after the holidays. As much as I want to have something booked so that my "I-want-to-go-back-NOW" pangs subside a bit, it would be nice to know that I don't have to worry about the deposit until after the holidays. Make sense?

I'm still trying to figure out if/when we can go next year. I miss Rocky and Jojo!! Oh, and especially Sonia (our room steward) - my house has stayed a constant mess since we got back because I'm so spoiled now!!
