Hi Vicki! :wave:

We went bowling today...it's actually a funny story. Chris and I joined this psuedo-league. A bunch of couples got together and decided to start a mini bowling get together once a month. We bowled for the first time last month and I was REALLY bad...like painfiully bad! :rolleyes: Today was really a practice session for me. My kids and I went with a friend and her kids. I did much better than last time. I'm still not going to win a trophy but hey, at least I'm improving! I could be on America's Funniest Videos, I'm that bad. :lmao:

I come from a bowling family--*everyone* bowls, aunts, uncles, cousins, you name it. But I'm terrible. I spent my whole life having people try to teach me how to bowl, with no success. At one point, during a bowl-a-thon for charity, my cousin saw me bowling and asked my mother, "Does Dawn know how to bowl?" At that time, I'd been bowling in leagues for probably five years. :sad2: I know from experience that children's leagues have consolation trophies. They're the only trophies I ever got! :rolleyes:

I did not mean to offend. I shared what someone else did, but I am not telling you what to do. You have to decide what works for Patsy.

Feel free to grumble here as Lisa said--we will listen.

Here's hoping Michael gets that camera to you. Did you see him when you were in Columbus? or is he in a different Columbus?How was your day today?

Jan :earsgirl:

You're right Jan, Patsy did you get to see Michael while you were in OH? Hope so! :goodvibes

Ditto!
::yes::

This is stupid, but I guess I/we share b/c I/we care. I/we love you and I/we want to try and protect you. That's just the mother hen in me coming out. You know your situation best and I know that all your hopes and dreams will come true. All the best to you Patsy. :goodvibes

Sorry, I'm posting backwards.

Thanks to you and Erica, I am not feeling like such a bowling catastrophe anymore. Now, if only you could come with me, then I wouldn't look like the ONLY one out there who can't bowl! :lmao: As they alway say, misery loves company! :grouphug:

Hi Lisa!! :wave: I'm not very good at bowling either but I like it!

I just tried to get tix for Lion King Live, coming here in January...all I could find were seats in the very back of the balcony. So...no Lion King Live for us! :sad2:

No problem! You didn't offend, everyone has their own way of going about things.
They're making an effort, I'm amazed. There was an offer for 0% financing for a year on a model of laptop I wanted and with my JPMC discount, it was a little under $1200-- from $1600 base. I really wanted to get it but I was declined so went out on a long shot and asked them to if they would apply for me and let me make the payments. They went for it and I'll have a functioning computer I can take to class with me on Thursday! I MIGHT ACTUALLY START *GASP* DOING SOME WORK!!
They also offered to pay half because they bought my brother a computer when he graduated college and never got me one. :sunny:

We're all pulling for you Patsy! Enjoy it while it lasts! :cool1: :grouphug:
