Where did you see it?

Here in Pittsburgh at the Benedum! OMG it was wonderful! We also saw Beauty and the beast, Phantom and Annie.
I never use to like plays! But they were all wonderful!

My mom saw it on Broadway, when she was still living in NJ. She said it's amazing!

It is! They had a cheetah walk across the stage and you would swear it was real!

That sounds great. I love to see plays and musicals, but it's hard with 3 girls cause it's so expensive :sad2:

I just tried to get tix for Lion King Live, coming here in January...all I could find were seats in the very back of the balcony. So...no Lion King Live for us! :sad2:

My mother-in-law bought tickets so that we could go with her...Lion King is NOT my favorite Disney story, so I have mixed feelings about this.

It is very good!! Go in with an open mind and watch-It is worth it!

Orchestra seats were going for $100 a piece at the box office, I can't even imagine how much it would be from a scalper for FIVE tickets! (After all, this isn't U2 we're talking about! :lmao: )

I used to take the kids to lots of shows when they (the boys) were younger. Now it's harder, too many different tastes. Lion King was one that we all wanted to see. Peter Pan was here last year, with Sandy Duncan. That would have been great to see, too. It came at the wrong time for us to get tickets. Seems to be a trend with us. :rotfl2:

(Never the right time to lay out $500 for show tickets, especially when there are crusie deposits to be made! ;) :goodvibes )

Maybe the trend will change. pixiedust:

I saw Sandy Dunca when she was Peter Pan at the Pantages Theatre when I was a kid. She's still flying on the wire? Cool! :thumbsup2
