Loved your pictures, Dawn! It was great reliving our trip yet again. Not sure if you've seen mine, there's a link to them in my signature. You'll find many of my shots are similar to yours. We both experienced the same great trip!!

Yup, I went and looked at yours! I've already snarfed some of them...it was very convenient that you did a lot of the same things! For example, you got a lovely shot of the ears entryway at the terminal...and the sign welcoming us to Nassau...both of those entered my album somehow...

I'm a hopeless scrapbooker, and I've just discovered the photo album offerings at shutterfly.com. Gasp! These are so flexible! I think I might be in love! I mean, it's nice to do hands-on scrapbooking sometimes, but sometimes it's so much more convenient to just use the computer!

I just had this conversation with my husband...

Matthew: Well, depending on how my grandpa is doing next year, maybe we should just do a 7 day cruise.

Me: (giving him a sly look from the corner of my eyes) How about in 2008?

Matthew: Why? What's in 2008?

Me: The reunion cruise.

I get to go sit in a big glass building for another 9 hours today. O yay!

Wonder what other perks I'll be able to dig up while I'm there...

.....I don't think that DVC is a great deal if you want to use your points for cruises, but I haven't crunched the numbers yet. I'm always happy to go ON and ON about DVC, just ask Vicki. But I'm trying not to put too much in one post, so let me know if there's anything in particular you want to know.....

We have used DVC points for several cruises and were pleased with the value. It all depends on your point of view, but DH thinks it is a good deal so if he is happy, I am happy.

I ....But your description reminded me of how I felt when we went to the Narnia display at MGM. Has anyone else done that? It was incredible for me. We were waiting in the waiting area, which is this plain room in front of a HUGE wardrobe. I was taking pictures of the wardrobe, which was very pretty, and I got distracted and looked away. When I looked back, the doors were swinging open and there in front of me was the lamp post and a snowy forest. I can't even begin to describe how magical that was. I got chills and I might have started to cry. I think that's why we love Disney so much--they pay attention to every little detail and give you such an incredible experience, they really try to put you *into* the story.

I am still trying to figure out how the forest was snow covered when we walked in and when the witch spoke but when the movie clips were over it was spring.....

Patsy, You are going to find perks they don't even know they have. Sitting in the little bank branch with few customers will be tolerable as you remember what you are earning besides your salary. As a self-employed person with no perks besides freedom to make my own schedule, I envy you.
Can you read books or study when there are no customers? or surf the net? or read the DIS? or read more about Chase and find out how to help your customers better?

We called DVC and asked how the points would work with the cruise and DH asked if it was a good way to use points and DVC said NO there are better ways but its an option! So we will still do the reunion cruise WHEN it happens in 2008!
