I don't know, I don't think we were exposed to anyone who was sick so it's doubtful. It's probably just that we were run down, different schedules, lots of running around, lots of new people/different germs..... and that's all it took. Another reason I need to keep sailing, so I build up an immunity to it.

I hope you guys feel better soon. I saw one young teenager getting escorted in the middle of the night. She was all wrapped up in a blanket and they were taking her down the stairs to the dungeon. J.K. Maybe to the doctor. Poor baby! I felt bad for her.

When exactly do you become a Castaway Club member? Is it when you book your second cruise or is it after you've taken your 2nd cruise? How do you find out what your CC number is?

Hmm.. I'm curious as to the Castaway Cay stuff.

I just went through all my presents and things for people while they were eating dinner and no one seemed half as enthused as me. Bummer. I should have just kept all their stuff for myself!

Can I bring my puppy on my next cruise? I missed him sooo!

You are in the club now, girl! You can call DCL and get your number. Supposedly you will get a castaway club pack in the mail but we never got ours.

I just added a third chapter to my trip report and am almost done with the fourth.

Haha, we said that the only thing that would have made the cruise better was hearing the sound of the dogs snoring as we drifted off to sleep
Though on second thought it would have been a little stressful following them around, trying to keep them from smelling everyone's crotches. It's a dog thing

Rink's a tiny little thing. No crotch sniffing unless you're on the floor

Guess I'd have to worry about him getting on the upper decks and going through/under the railings!

I told Tim about Flat Tim last night. He looked at me at first like I was crazy! Then I told him what we did and showed him the pictures. He laughed and you could tell he wanted to laugh hard but he was bitting his lip!!!!!!!! I got the impression that he was sorry he didnt go so maybe we can get him to the reunion cruise!!!!!

Kristin got zero homework done. I had to keep her home one more day so she has the weekend to make it all up. I so don't want to start the everyday stuff all over again. Pirate night was great! Did everyone's kids like it? Logan did you meet any nice girls?

My kids got a couple sheets completed, but now we're in the rush to play catch up. good thing its the weekend 'eh?

Pirate night was a blast. Loved every minute of it!

Lori - not sure if you realized this but one day, you were out on deck smoking & chatting with an older lady from Florida. That was my mom. The next day at Palo, she was telling me all about the girl she met from CA who wants to move to FL and I started to say that sounds like Lori. She saw you in the distance and said "that's her" and I said yup, that's her. Small world. I think a long time ago we chatted out here about who would be smoking and I said that my mom would probably meet you out there, and she did.

We had an absolute blast! I can't say it enough!

My DD6 got 13 pages of homework for three days missed. SHEEEZUS! First grade!!! Unreal! The boys don't have half as much.

Conor and I are still fighting some miserable sore throats. I may have to take him to the doctor in the a.m. Teia started with a runny nose and my mom just called to say her throat is starting to bother her as well.

I was wondering how Coner's been doing he just looked miserable at breakfast on the last day. poor guy May all the yucky germies go away soon!

We just got a quote from Dreams Unlimited for a 7-nighter in February (for my birthday).....it's a great deal. We're also checking out a 4-nighter around the same time, because I'm still getting over the sticker shock of our final bill.

Anyone else up for cruising in Feb?

I have to fly to Pittsburgh tomorrow

and then drive to WV.. yucky.

I was feeling the same way as we were driving up out of FL. Very pouty, I still am actually.

I hear you Patsy! I still have stuff strewn all over the place. I did manage to get the laundry washed and dried but it's all piled up, not put away.

I took Conor & Teia to the doctor today. They both have strep throat and Conor also has an ear infection. I have strep too. Such fun for all!

Oh my goodness... good thing I'm hugging you over the computer right now.
