We have soccer tonight! I feel like I live at the soccer field. Kristin's arm is a lot better so we will try letting her play again. :confused3 I am really wondering where Bill is. Does anyone have his e-mail? If so can you e-mail him and tell him to let us know how things went. I PMed Dawn but no response.

I think Dawn was staying a while. She mention she was debating going to the MNSSHP (is that right)...so, maybe she's heading home or is home and isn't ready to post...

Sooo I get to work today and get a call from my trainer (who I've never met or talked to before? haha) and I get an all expense paid trip to beautiful (hah!) Columbus, Ohio for three nights/four days for three sessions of corporate training.. I get a rental car, my own hotel room and I get to expense the entire thing. (I also get paid to drive there..)

I definitely do NOT feel like a teenager! HAHA. The lady who I've been "shadowing" said something about how when you grow up you just have to accept that the world is a sad place.. and I looked at her and said "But I'm still a teenager, can't I at least wait until I'm 20 to accept that?" and they ALL stopped and looked at me like they didnt believe I was really 19..

Sooo party for Patsy..

Enjoy your get away....I mean training.... :thumbsup2

Shouldn't be hard to find each other; how many pirate:'s go to WDW?!? Actually how often do pirate:'s hang out with :darth: ? I would bet on a light saber against a scabbard any day, but I could suspect that Cptn Sparrow uses the force as well.

You FLoridians should be selling your mailing addresses to us outsiders so we can get those home-state rates! You'd make (illegal) billions. BTW, though on tickets. We have two 7-day expired passes from 2001 that we have been told can be upgraded with 3 days each on our trip next month. And... the price for an upgrade (as we all know) is $2/day. So, MIL gets 6 days for $12 (and tax). Woot!! :cool1: NEVER discard an old ticket!
:cheer2: >>>> ONLY 9 more pages till 1K <<<<< :cheer2:

Wow, awesome deal! No one's allowed to leave until after the 1K page or ever for that matter....I'm holding you captive! pirate:

Jan - this is the course: spirit of caregiving
It was pretty neat and not at all what I was expecting. My "possibility" was to start writing professionally! :teeth:
The description on the website does not sound like something that would lead to a decision and action to write professionally. I am glad that is what you got out of it because I think you do that VERY well. Like most people, you are multi-fasceted. However, I wonder if they expect attendees to come away from a care-giver's seminar with the incentive to leave the care-giving profession?????
Whatever happens--I hope it goes well for you!!! I love your writing.

I should really go through our camera and weed through the 1,000+ pictures. DH pulled out the obvious blurry one's, but I'd like to re live our vacation. So, did any one get any shots of Jack Sparrow in the POTC ride? Mine came out fuzzy.
OH OH! Before we were on the cruise, we stopped at MK on Saturday and they had an EVEN BETTER (than CC) impression-guy of Jack Sparrow outside the ride. he did this cool activity with lots of kids from the crowd and his other pirate "Mack". It was the BEST impression i have seen of Jack Sparrow. pirate:

..... have you gone to the Disboards photo hosting site? There's a lot more pictures in there too...

10 more pages to 1K :woohoo:
Where?? How do I find that??
I have been enjoying photos posted by those who were on our cruise as I can make an album in my computer of the pictures I wish I had taken but the camera was in the stateroom.
As I have read the photo of the day thread I have chosen some pictures to add to my DVC Member's Only Cruise 2005 photo file as it is my slideshow-screen saver. It is getting to be more and more interesting.

I might get it started, but I don't think I can finish it until tomorrow. We had to go visit a friend in the hospital tonight (don't worry, he's ok, he just needed some company) and we JUST got home. Eeeeeek!

But it will be done tomorrow, I promise!

I agree, I wasn't impressed by the Capt'n Jack on the Wonder. did you take any pictures of the Capt'n Jack at the Kingdom?

BTW Logan (or any one else), what websites to you read about POTC the movie? I'm finding old ones or ones w/ shallow content... Thanks in advance.

Yep! I dont know. Most of ours are looking for drugs.

Haha.....yeah, we get those too. One of our kids was saving his Oxycodone (sp?) and giving it to his friends when they would come and visit. The social worker was not happy.

She must be a sad person. :confused3 I have known people who are only happy when they are complaining and miserable.
:cheer2: I am 57 and still think that the world can be a fun place. Sad things happen, sure, but a lot of what we deal with is based on our decisions about how to handle it and how to react. We can react like OLD :sad2: people when we are 19 or we can react like YOUNG  people when we are 89. I choose the latter.
:cool1: BRING ON THE ADVENTURE!! :cool1:

Thanks Jan :goodvibes

It's funny - I expected the course to be all about being a better caregiver and loving your job again, but it was more about fulfilling your own needs....I assume with the idea that you become a more rounded person and therefore a better caregiver? I don't know. It was definately interesting though, and it made me feel good about my company that they would be willing to pay for me to attend this course AND pay for me to miss two days of work. Not bad.

To the movie question- Cant remember the site.... I found out 70% of the movie(dead mans chest) a year before it came out. So far what i have learned (I should check up on this, its been a while) The third installment is called At Worlds End, but before that title they chose Uncharted Waters. Cutler, Norrington, and Jones have all formed a wicked alliance, it is set in the end of the whole piracy age (1700s I THINK....) Asia(Oriental stuff) is big in this movie, a new ship called the singapore, chow yun fat will portray captain sao feng, pirates 4 is also currently being written, Keith Richards is Captain Grant "the sea sponge" sparrow, and here is a picture i have on my comp of jack in his new threads(youll like them):
