You girls will still have fun without the alcohol. Just think you'll get to watch some of the rest of us act like idiots!!!!
:rotfl2: :lmao: That usually is my favorite part about college...being the only sober one and watching all my drunk friends do dumb stuff! :lmao: :rotfl2:

He really is dedicated. Now Logan...He is the one who'll stay home if the wind is blowing the wrong way. At times, he has the grades to show it, too. (He swears though, that he is getting his act together this year, I am confident he'll do it, too!)

This is Conor's first attempt at Spanish. He is in all advanced high school weighted classes at the middle school. They offer the Spanish to a small group of kids so they can get a jump start on high school. He's in 8th grade. If he knocks off a year of Spanish now he'll have more room for fun stuff in high school. Unfortunately, Logan didn't get to do this, I think he regrets it. Logan has HUGE potential but not as much drive. Conor is a go getter. All three of my kids are amazingly lucky to be as smart as they are. Everything was a battle and struggle for me. I am envious of all three of them. If they put their mind to it, they can do anything!

well good for conor! that's something to be proud of! i would say i was sick to stay home from school... however my mom knew if she said i couldn't go to practice that night i would go to school in a heartbeat if i wasn't sick. staying home from practice was the worst punishment in the world to me. now swimming, i dedicated myself to that wholeheartedly. too bad there's nothing i can really show for it or do with it now. except to remember what i accomplished and that i don't have crazy college bills to pay :rotfl2:

Yeah, sometimes I regret not giving it my all in high school. I know at times I could have done a LOT better. And those times when I would get C's I would wanna throw up. :sad2: I didn't have a bad GPA or anything...I just know I could have worked a lot harder...but somewhere between my freshman year and sophomore year I just gave up on school. :p But I am glad I am showing improvement in college. I'm making myself proud...along with my parents. :goodvibes I hope to graduate with a Summa Cum Laude (3.9 or higher). With any luck...I just might be able to do it! :goodvibes

I'm so glad.

We found out today that teacher letters are being mailed out this week so my kids are a little on edge worrying about getting the teachers they don't want :rotfl:

Oh you were a mess. When I was trying to show you that picture I took of you and Goofy...you just started swaying back and forth and you tried to do something funky with your eyes to see the picture better! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

That's always a tough time...the waiting and wondering. The anxiety of the first day is never fun. It's nice when things settle down and everyone knows what's expected. Good luck! I hope everyone gets who they want and they have lots of friends with them! :thumbsup2

Hind sight is always 20/20. As long as you learn from the experience then it's not wasted. All we can ever do is move forward and do our best. Sounds like you're right on track!

Have a great night! We're getting closer by the second..... :hourglass
