Ummm... folders. :rotfl2:

I read Lori's link or was it Jessica's any way they were made in Michigan so I don't know why you didn't get them. There's one peechee on Ebay like the one I posted for 9.99. actually, that's where I got the photo from, Ebay.

I'm not ready either! When I think about how close it really is, I get a little overwhelmed.
I'm nearing that stage too. Like today, I had no idea what date it was until I read our church bulletin. Sad part is, I write the church bulletin. Mentally, the vacation packing/planning/cleaning has not sunk in until today.

Speaking of bad language I remember I switched to just saying Jack instead of the whole thing when I was driving and one day when my oldest DD was about four she asked me how I knew every one's name. :rotfl:

It's so funny, I really don't remember ever hearing that name. Maybe I'm TOO OLD? DH doesn't remember them either, and he grew up in the Chicago area and he's younger. :confused3 Maybe we did have them and I just don't remember them? I won't forget them now. :teeth:

I'll have to take it one step further and call everyone Jack SPARROW! :rotfl2: (Jack on the brain, eh?)

that's a good one. I let poop (sh88) slip out once when oldest dd was pretty young. She walked around the house saying it off and on. I kept telling her it was a yucky word and she just looked at me (as if to say, well you said it). I'm sure she doesn't remember.

Haha I did that yesterday! My microwave came with a radio that I can hook up to my iPod and I just assumed it had an alarm so I didn't bring mine. I was reading the label yesterday and it didn't say anything about an alarm and i said "oh ____". But I think I said it so lightly that my mom didn't catch it...and then right away I said oh shoot louder just in case. She never said anything so I'm hoping she didn't hear me.

Wow, I must admit I am not much up on my home appliances, but I had no idea that microwaves now a days came with radios, much less ipod hook ups!

Pretty cool. I have to ask though, what is the alarm? :confused3

good luck with your classes! I hope they go well. When do you start your new job?

I forgot to ask you what you're going to be doing at the bank. Are you a teller?

Oh well, maybe Alex will open an account there and you can see him every pay day....... ;)

Yes! Yes! thats it!!!! :yay:

I can't post attachments yet or I woulda put a pic on here.... when by the way do you get that privledge?

I was reading another thread about having your pictures transferred from your memory card to CD on board. I don't have a lap top, so doing it myself hasn't been an option. Someone suggested bringing a mini hard disk so you can upload your own pictures. Does anyone have any experience with anything like this? I found this at circuitcity.com. I am not sure if it's the same thing but it sounds very interesting. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Smar...sem/rpsm/oid/147572/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

Boy oh boy, I'm the same way. I really have to be aware of my foul mouth, I swear like a pirate too! :lmao: Not a good influence on my kids, that's for sure. It didn't help that years ago I worked in a county jail. Yikes! I really try to keep it toned down though. My mom certainly points it out whenver I do it, even though I'm 100 years old now!

Wow, what was it like working in the jail? what'd you do?

when I went to school I majored in Sociology and my concentrations were family and deviant behavior (two separate topics). Anywho I was always interested in criminal justice but was worried that I wasn't in good enough shape, too short and too fat to hold my own, pass the physical exams etc.
But it sure interested me....

I'm :lmao: about "My mom certainly points it out whenver I do it, even though I'm 100 years old now!" Isn't it funny how our moms can make us feel like we're ten again? Sometimes its bad, but at other times it IS nice having your mommy around to make ya feel like a kid again.

I have no idea on that. Did they say how much it was to have shutters put it on a CD for you.
It's $15 a disc but some people say they keep your memory card over night, others say you wait while they transfer it. If I bring 2gb of memory with me, I am not sure how many pics each disc even holds. I am going to look into this other thing. I could transfer my pics every night and start fresh every day. Many people have had catastrophes where their camera was dropped or broken and they've lost all their pictures. If they had uploaded their pictures every night, they would have at least had the pictures from before the accident.

I'm starting tomorrow early. I'm doing all the laundry now so I can start picking out the kids outfits. Hopefully I'll have all their clothes together by tomrrow night. :thumbsup2 (I wish I were like Bill's wife pretty much ready to go. *sigh*)

Good luck! I hope you don't have to battle the little ones and they actually let you pack in peace!

I can just imagine them giving you their input.... "noooo I don't want to wear THAT" or you put something in their suitcase that they were "planning on wearing" tomorrow so you couldn't possibly seriously be considering packing it right now.

siiiigh. Isn't it great when kids "help"? :teeth:
