I swear someone told me I'd be landing in Orlando at like 2 or 3! My dad just e-mailed me my plane ticket info and it says I'll be arriving in Orlando at 12:42. So that leaves plenty of time, right? I figure I'll get my luggage between 1 and 1:15 (*crosses her fingers*) and I don't know what time the bus will leave, but before 2, right? Be on the ship at about 3, hopefully? What time do we depart?

I think that's doable. There's no reason why I shouldn't be on board by 4. There will just be some sitting around at the airport with nothing to do for 15-30 minutes. And hopefully this way, there won't be a line in the terminal when I get to Port Canaveral and I can walk right on the ship without waiting.

but i called today about my stripes for the umteenth time... i was told they'd be here by the end of the month... what!? that is insane! these things seriously have taken over a month to get here. at this point it's going to be 2 months. just to get stripes shipped??? it took a month for the car to be built AND shipped.... grrrrr

oh don't worry, i'm good at taking lots of pictures. it's one of the good things about a digital camera. you can take many more pictures than you need!

seriously, the digital camera is probably one of the single greatest inventions ever. now i need to figure out if i get a little underwater disposable camera, if it will last at about 50 feet deep so i can take pictures of the fishies!

Check and see if there is an underwater housing for your camera. I know Canon has them for theirs. I have one and DH has one for his.

hmmm that could work. i can't imagine going much deeper. i'm only allowed to go 60 ft... but then i'm paying for a camera and for it to be developed. maybe i'll just look into finding a casing. it will probably be cheaper in the long run cause i know i'll use it. and then i can take pictures of what i want and develop just the ones i want...

purplern - as a warning, the "cooling box" is really tiny and not much more than cool. It should be fine for a few small things that you don't need to be ice cold though.

Evening everyone. Zweihund, time HAS been passing fast! I'm not sure I want to go back to school. Okay...I wanna go back to surfing, but I'm not sure I'm ready for the classes to start again. And I don't know if I'm ready to try that roommate thing again... My last roommate was not...the greatest person. But I've been talking to my new one and she sounds great. Hopefully it'll work out this time!

I'm so glad when I transfer up to Motown I'll be considered a Junior and won't have to live on campus!

In my second year of college, I stayed in a hall with NINE OTHER GIRLS. We each had our own tiny little room, but we shared two showers, two toilets and one very small kitchen.
By the end of the year, I think I still liked one of them. But that was it!

Oh I wouldn't ever live off campus...I love it too much! Our campus is gorgeous. You can live off campus as a freshman here, *grade* status doesn't matter. I just think it's easier and more convenient to live on campus. But I hope you enjoy being able to live off campus when you transfer!
