In my second year of college, I stayed in a hall with NINE OTHER GIRLS. We each had our own tiny little room, but we shared two showers, two toilets and one very small kitchen.
By the end of the year, I think I still liked one of them. But that was it!
Oh man that's brutal! In the dorm I'm living in, there's a toilet, sink, and shower for 4. I share a bedroom with one person and a common room with my roommate and another set of roommates. I think it's a pretty sweet set-up, actually. Compared to most dorms anyway.

Morgantown is a pain in the butt, though.
I know you have friends there but don't know if you visited?

The campus has two major sections and while there is the PRT connecting them it's just so much easier to not rely on it because its *always* breaking down.
I got stuck in one of the carts once, I was petrified.. ahah.. and late for where I was going!
I'd rather have my own place where I could have a car easily accessible to get to the other end of campus if I wanted (which is up a hill..)

I loathe Morgantown soooo I'm trying to make it as easy as possible on me to adapt to living there soon..

Nope, I've never visited WVU...sounds like a painful campus. :rotfl: Yeah I guess it would be a good idea for you to live off campus. I don't have a car so it's best I be stuck on my campus. Oh man, I can't believe in a year I'm gonna be half way done with college... :rotfl:

Wow, sounds like a suite instead of your normal cell style dorm room. :thumbsup2

I did too! You would not believe how many people cant swallow pills. The liquid stuff is worse than pill. The taste only will kill ya.
I too suffer from Migraines. They are horrible. I had to switch Doctor because the first one didnt want to hear migraine.I wasnt light sensitive. I told the new one I take 6000 mg of Motrin, 2 advil cold and sinus 4 excedrine migraine and nothing helps and my hair hurts. Then added I dont want narcotics-he said sounds like a migraine and gave me Zomig! I love it!

We had the same thing! When he started having them, he wasn't light sensitive and he didn't see "auras". That, and the doctor felt he was too young. My DD was 4 when he started having migraines. Then I had the audacity to tell her that I had looked up juvenile migraines online. She informed me that that's why doctors went to medical school and she was sure it was strep throat. The strep test came back negative, but she still insisted. It took me nearly a year of a migraine every month before I found someone who would believe me. Not that it helped, since he couldn't really take any medications. But I guess he's 12 now, so maybe he can start taking medications. I'm hoping they'll go away.

I actually went and looked at the chewables, and I guess now that he's 12 he's expected to take the adult doses anyway. He can swallow pills, he's just very stubborn about it. :confused3 I think he'd rather suffer through the pain--go figure.

Hehe, yeah that's what we call it. But then we also have a place on campus called the Suites. I've never actually been inside them, so I don't know what they're like.

How awful! I'd definitely try to convince him to try adult doses, at least of Advil or Motrin. They go down easily, last long and there's much less to take.

EWWWWWWWW NO BED BUGS TAE JA! :rotfl2:

yep, MoTown is a pain.
Evansdale is the "Uptown" Campus.
The Football field and all that is up there but basically most of MoTown is a hill. You are ALWAYS going up or down, there is no flat land.
Evansdale is located on top of a huuuge hill (or small mountain I guess?) that you couldn't even walk up to get to the campus, you'd have to rely on the annoying PRT. And if it breaks down, you rely on the like.. 1 bus, I think?.. that runs routes.
Even if you live in the dorms, you have to buy a parking space to have a car (which I'd NEED.. I'd die without my car) and I think 90%, if not all, parking spaces are up on Evansdale.. so if you live downtown, you've gotta go up to get your car. And then walk to the parking lot from the closest PRT station.. and there are only like.. three on Evansdale, I think. And two downtown..
It's just a pain.
I don't want to deal with it.
Must make the experience as painless as possible!

I have the crocs that are the Niles. I like them looks wise more than the typical beach style, but they do have a lot of different styles, not just those big old holey things, like flip flops, mary janes, some RX kinds that are supposedly good for people with diabetes or wide feet, their website has more info and pics

I love how they feel. These are my first pair of crocs (thanks to the peer pressure from the DIS board, :rotfl: ) Actually if we had all gotten on the topic of Teva's before I had bought my crocs i might have been persuaded to go that route :teeth:

Not having a pair of Teva's I can't really tell you how they compare.

Anyway they are supposedly slip resistant and odor free, they are extremely comfortable, very light weight and mold to your feet. its wierd for being so thin and light weight they give my feet enough cushioning to be able to walk around in them all day. Plus they are good in wet situations etc. They would seem perfect for a cruise atmosphere.

I hear whether you like them or not depends on how well they fit.

There is a whole thread on crocs though here on the dis boards, I'll see if i can find you a link, hmmmm ok my search actually worked this time, hopefully this link works

Mine are fuschia, I love 'em! :woohoo:

now if I could just get my cruise documents I would be a happy camper...

I have crocs, and I know that they don't have enough arch support for me, and I really pay for it when I wear them. BUT I love them. I've worn them on the beach, and I loved how the sand didn't stay in the shoe like it did for my birks. I can't walk barefoot on the sand, it feels like walking on broken glass. I loved being able to wear the crocs into the ocean and I liked how quickly they dried afterwards. They are slip resistant, but they are not slip proof. I e-mailed the company telling them that I need more arch support :teeth: and they said they should be adding a line for me in August. Okay, what they really sad was that they intended to add a line with more arch support...but it seemed really convenient that they said that after I told them to do it... :rotfl:

My crocs are red. I like red. :teeth:

It was painful just reading that! :lmao: It sounds confusing and just plain dumb. I support you in living off campus and saving you time and effort. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I've never heard of anyone who didn't love their Crocs. I've never tried them but they sound great.
