Was that cause of the alcohol? ;) :rotfl:

:wave2: that would be my problem. Hence why I still think I'm 25. Can't remember 18-24 so I think they didn't happen :lmao:

Okay, what's the big deal with the pillowcases? I know that you can leave them and get signatures, but what I don't understand is, why is that exciting for the kids? They don't get to see the character, they just get a pillowcase with signatures on it. My kids are marginally interested in autographs, and they have autograph books, but it seems like a big waste of time for me to stand in line for autograph books on a cruise that's already short. But it seems to me that an autograph doesn't mean much if the kid didn't see how it got there. Can anyone help me get my head around this? :confused3

with some sprite? yes please and thank you :teeth:

I girl after my heart. Except that my mind thinks I'm 25 and body knows differently so I had to switch to Sprite Zero. I LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE any vodka flavor mixed with Diet Sprite.

By the way, did I mention that Suzanne is my new best friend??? We will be the funny, giggly moms by the pool with the constant liquor and/or beer beverages in our hand.

There's really no big deal about the pillow cases. I just think they're a cute souvenir to have. My kids have never been overly interested in autographs either, they'll get them when possible but we don't usually stand on long lines. I saw pictures of the pillow cases and also the photo mats and I thought they looked really nice and they'd be something fun to bring back. That's it, nothing major. :mickeyjum

I am finally all caught up. Dawn, some people were saying it is better than the autograph books because they actually use them and they don't get stuffed in the drawer. A lot of people get them embroidered too. I don't know I have not gotten mine yet and if I don't I am not going to stress. My kids have never gotten an autograph and we go to cast parties. I never really understood the whole autograph thing either. I do like the pillowcase idea though.

O.k. a couple of questions:

Did Bill ever tell us what he did for his anniversary and how it went?

Do they have O'Douls on board?

Is it time yet?

O.k., Holly, I've been so busy keeping up with just my subscriptions...and you posted about Jack being ON the Wonder. OMG! Lisa did you know this???? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1181258&page=2&pp=15
Yup, I saw that pic of the family with him when they posted it. Pretty cool eh? It will be fun to see him, too bad he's not JOHNNY though. Bummer! I wonder if women have been propositioning him? :lmao: Of all the Disney character roles to play, I'd think that'd be one of the more interesting, if you get my drift. ;) ;)

Last time I had a matted board made with a slot for a photo. My mom left it at guest services and all the characters signed it. I put a cruise picture in it and framed it. It hangs in his room and it's a pretty neat momento of his trip. My parents bought him 2 souveniors (sp?) A magician mickey hat and chip and dale (in cruise sailor outfits) The stuff my mom and dad bought him he does nothing with. The hat was a novelty for about a month and then it wore off.

I did the pillowcase thing so he would have an inexpensive momento ($10 for the pillow and whatever the fabric markers cost) that could be on one of his beds. Figure it would be a nice memory/reminder of the first real family vacation that little man & I take together. (My parents didn't invite me the last time :sad2: )

This is our Jack Sparrow, last year with my daughter. I got pictures this year, but the camera took a little trip and I don't have it available for download right now.
