Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006 Part 2

Oh don't worry...so are we. Holly and I have lightsabers...I got them for her 23rd birthday. Not the real expensive ones...but I do want one of those...and I'd have one already if they weren't $100+.

Okay, I guess it's my day to tell stories, and you all are my captive audience...run away now if you don't want to hear it!

Saturday night, my family was camping on site at the Renaissance Festival. After dark, we all went into the wide open area by the front gate, and someone handed out light sabers. There were easily 20 to 30 light sabers. All of the kids and adults were swinging the light sabers around, fighting with each other, and it's in the middle of nowhere so there were no lights other than the light sabers. It was beautiful! I snapped a bunch of pictures which look like blurry lights on a dark background and I thought, I hope this is one of those moments that my kids take into adulthood, that they remember for the rest of their lives.

Gosh, this is probably a thread killer...but don't tell me if it is, I don't want to know.

Not too creepy. My grandpa has a picture of a gator right up at his front door where he used to live in Florida. I think it's kinda cool, actually. I think the gators by him aren't the extremely vicious, man-eating type...at least...I hope so...

Teaja, I like that picture of the sandcastle and DCL in the background. Very pretty.

Yup, his name is Chris, he is an aluminum installer, he love Star Wars, Pokemon, HUGE hockey fan (I like Hockey too)... Red Wings are his team, Chris Chelios is his fave player...

Oh NO!! Huge disaster! Not the Red Wings! And you guys thought you'd have football rivalries going on...

I'll make you a deal...let's promise not to talk about hockey!
