Tevas... man i live in my crocs and can't afford to get new shoes right now, so i will just have to stare at all y'alls feet with envy (my feet by the way are 9 to 9.5 depending on how much I've been on them)

I'm bummed I missed the secret "Dirty Johnny Depp" post.... but I haven't seen the second movie yet either so maybe I wouldn't have even gotten the reference. I am hoping to see it on the ship though

Let's see... what else did I miss.... Oh we got an update on Tropical storm Chris, I am SO worried about storms. I have been looking forward to this trip so much I would be crushed if I got stranded in some airport somewhere...

Lori, I just wanted to warn you, if you go ahead and order that flower (or coconut) bikini top it tends to chafe a little under the arm pits so be careful.... and if you go with the matching grass skirt I have found that wearing a thong under it gives you just the right amount of flirtiness while still leaving a little to the imagination...

As for tattoos.... I have two. One on the nape of my neck that is the zodiac sign for Leo, intwined in the Year of the Rat symbol in Chinese and then my upper arm has a japanese kanji that means Harmony/peace balance....

I want to, believe it or not, get a Hello Kitty tattoo, a little luau hello kitty with a puppy and some hibiscus flowers (I'm a beach bum wanna be surfer... oh I've never even seen a surf board in person, but boy do i wanna surf ). I saw it in a coloring book and think it looks cute, just not so sure how it will look when i"m 60

Hope everyone is surviving the heat. Kinda chilly here today. Well, better go put my clothes in the dryer and head out to Costco. Our company picnic is tonight and I have to do all the shopping for the food.

We have a small non-profit so nothin fancy just a hot dog bbq for about 150 people so not so bad, just reallllly hope my director brings the check book tonight so I can get reimbursed!

oh my gosh that's right! don't know if they do this anywhere else (my friend from florida thought maryland was on crack the first time she found out santa comes around on a fire truck)... but when christmas gets close the fire department comes around on the fire truck with santa. it's very exciting i try to never miss it. and it was probably about 8pm and they came out of their house yelling at the fire department for being too loud. who yells at the fire department?!

We had Santa on the fire truck in NJ when I was a kid (waaaaaaaaaaaaay back then!) They also drove the Easter Bunny around. I had forgotten all about that til you mentioned it, Holly. Too funny!

I'm a wanna be surfer too! I'm living vicariously through my kids though. Logan will probably be the first one to actually get to surf, he's totally into it! I'm a beach bum from when I was a baby...even learned to walk at the Jersey Shore.

I'm taking surf lessons at school! I've only been surfing once, but it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I almost made it to standing position...but I slipped. But it is so much fun just layin on the surfboard and ridin the wave in. I can't wait to be back out in the ocean again!

haha! We call my dog Chewie because when she gets frustrated she starts making Chewbacca noises!

It cracks me up. Sometimes she will get her tennis ball stuck somewhere where she can't get at it (like under the coffee table) and she just plops down and stares at it moaning and groaning.

She's so stubborn she just sits there intently staring and getting louder and louder and louder, you would think she would just give up (because this is only one of about 50 three million tennis balls she has, but no) finally you just have to get it for her or her little head would pop right off!
