Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006 Part 2

HEY! I'M GOING ON THIS CRUISE! hehe i won it from a local radio station back in november. hehe. so excited! it's almost here!

hehe thanks! this will be my 4th disney cruise, my second on the wonder. i actually was on the wonder the same week last year. i just realized that the other week

i can't wait to go again. these seriously are my favorite vacations ever. i love disney world and everything. but i fell in love with the caribbean the first cruise in 2001. so these cruises are the perfect mix of disney and my love of the caribbean. hehe. my best friend actually just got back from her first cruise (disney) on sunday. she asked me if i wanted to move onto a cruise ship with her cause it was the best vacation she's ever had. i'm so happy she had as much fun as we always seem to have

I have been putting tons of $$$ into my car's a.c. on and off for the past year! All totaled, I have spent close to $2000 on this! Last week, it was $500, just got it back on the 19th and now, the a.c. stopped working again today. I have replaced the condenser, evaporator, fan motor, blower motor and resistor and now something else has broken. I am out of money and out of patience. Buying a new car is not an option for us and I can't stand driving around with no a.c. (especially when I have to sit on car line for close to an hour when picking DD up from school). Please send some pixie dust my way...maybe you guys have the power to change my luck 'cause so far, I haven't been doing so well on my own. Sorry for the downer post. It's certainly not the end of the world but it's frustrating, none-the-less.

hehe yes feel free to ask as many questions of me as you wish. i am more than willing to lend my knowledge. sometimes i get so lost trying to keep up with all these threads. most people seem to be able to get on during the day while at work. but seeing as how i'm out and driving about for my job i'm only really around in the mornings before work and in the evenings after work. so i do my best to keep up. sometimes it's overwhelming if so much happens while i'm gone during the day!


haha yeah. it was really funny when i won. i've never won anything like that before. and i generally don't listen to the radio. but for some reason that week i had been. and i was flipping through the channels and heard them talking about it. said to sign up as a loyal listener and then on friday from 5-6 they would pull a name and you had 10 min to call back. so i went home (i think it was wednesday) and signed myself up. so all week i joked about it. and i actually forgot at one point on friday. i was joking about it when my mom got home that day that i was going to win. i don't know why i kept listening cause i really didn't think it'd happen. and 6 came and went and they had no winner still so they kept going. the closest they got was someone called 14 min after her name was called early on. but no one else... it was probably almost 630 by this point. my mom walks downstairs. as soon as she gets to the bottom i start screaming. she yells up saying there's no way you just won that. when i didn't answer she came back up to see what was going on. walks in my room as i'm shaking writing down the phone number to call. the dj when he finally got on the phone says, 'holly do you realize you called me in about 30 seconds?'. i just laughed. of course everyone i know, knows i'm a big disney nut and they're like only you would win a disney cruise

hehe yes, i was on the dvc member cruise. i loved it. i seriously was like a 5 year old every night after dinner running back to the stateroom to see what kind of goody we were getting that night!

i'm a sales rep. so i drive around all day long. hehe. so you're not the only one!

the cruise i won was for 4. but my dad got another room. and he did some kind of weird stuff and our room got upgraded for free so he could be next to us. we're no longer in an inside stateroom. we have an outside one with a window (which is good, we're used to the verandas). and my mom is going to stay in that room too and my sisters and i get a room to ourselves. i already called the big bed and i'm not sharing it as i'm the one who won the cruise

I won a TV once when I worked for the Sheriff's Dept. I won it in a raffle at a dinner. I was STOKED. Haven't won a thing since!

Side note, I just went to drop my car off so it's there to be checked out in the a.m. On the way there, the FLIPPING A.C. WENT ON! UGGGGGGGH They are going to think I am NUTS. (Shh, don't let on that it's true!) D#*N CAR is getting the best of me!
