Ok, and I have a question for you Teva fans out there.....I am looking at them on ebay right now and I'm not sure if I should go up or down a half-size. I wear a 6 1/2 - do I want a 6 or a 7?
I went down and am happy with them. 91/2 I ordered 9s.
But if you go up, there are velcrox straps so you can adjust them. Either way I think you are pretty safe. YAH!! TEVAS!! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Going to bid on this pair - so cute!

Wish me luck.
Not at all like mine. did you get them?
Mine have a strap across the top of the foot by the base of the toes and another around the ankle that has a velcrox closure. There is a connecting strap from the little toe end of the first strap to the second strap by the ankle bone. I love them. Check their website for different styles though--lots of variety.
Mine are like:

but I got tan and black, not orange

We ordered Logan a pirate coat from that Museum Replica company. Come to find out, it's backordered until the end of August. We had to cancel the order. What a bummer, I feel bad for him!
I used a pattern and made DH a coat that is very similar. I used crushed velvet upholstery fabric so did not have to hem the facings or put in lining!! Great timesaver. I can e-mail (easterly@ebsbiz.biz) you a picture but I don't have it saved to an on-line place so cannot post it here. If you want the pattern number I can get it for you. It is in the storage closet, but that is in the hall of my condo, so not impossible. I made his whole costume in two weeks--pants, shirt and coat. Bought a hat at a costume store and made a hatband to match the pants. We will probably bring that outfit for pirate night.

I wish I knew how to sew. I am sure it saves a lot of money. My friend is making curtains for her house and I am so jealous. Something else I need to learn.

I totally agree about the being alone & drunk theory. When my mom freaked out and and told me to tell the kids to STAY AWAY FROM THE RAILINGS, I asked her, how many KIDS she has heard about going overboard? None, it's all drunken idiots! Honestly! I'm sure this recent one with the local Florida girl has a story behind it too. Whether or not it comes out to the public is a something to be seen.
My theory is that some of the cute ladies are abucted for harams, but there is no way to prove that. I have ideas of how they can be smuggled off the ship and everything. Either my imagination is WAY TOO ACTIVE of they need to give me a consultation job in the FBI.

yes, he's funny. My kids still don't get the puns.

That is why Disney movies are so great--levels of meaning that appeal to all different ages and none of it is dirty.

Thanks for the added info. I am bummed about this, I am quite self conscious (even though I know this is ridiculous) about swimming and being in suits etc. so i like to go swimming when its practically empty, was hoping to go late at night and at least have less people to feel embarassed in front of. I know its irrational, just need to take that step outside of my comfort zone :teeth:

Oh well, maybe in a large crowd I'll kind of blend in....
You will be fine. People are on the cruise to have fun, not to compete in a beauty contest. Anyway, even these DIS friends will probably never be seen again, and if they are, you know they love you for who you are, not what you look like! Go for it!! :cheer2: You can do it. :cheer2: ENJOY THE POOL when it is OPEN!

What is the name of it?
Jan :earsgirl:

My sister-in-law bought sheets, ran the curtain rod through the casing at the top and bloused the other end on the floor--viola!!--new curtains. I figure some things are not worth sewing, just buy them, but fancy, hard to find things or special sizes are different.

My Mom had a sewing machine that was old enough that we could not hurt it and new enough that it was not an antique so she let us use it as kids. I started making dolls clothes and moved on to people things.

I used to have shoes for every outfit. Little by little with the plantar fasciitis and increasing desire for comfort, I gave all them away except the COMFORTABLE ones. Now I have
sneakers for work--white and black.
Dress shoes--black DANSCOs
Sandals--everyday tevas, dressier tan ones and dressier black ones on order.
Lots more space on my closet floor now!
I also used to have matching purses so they went with the shoes. I use a hip pack most of the time and often take it as a purse over my shoulder. Just cannot be bothered to take the time to change my stuff to a new purse. :confused3 Lazy?? :confused3 or efficient?? :thumbsup2
Jan :earsgirl:

hehe... most females have lots of shoes in all different varieties and generally they're nice. not me... i'm not like that. however i own too many shoes. i have a thing for sneakers. i love them. i have entirely too many of them. granted i have to buy them more often now because of the running. but even outside of that i have way too many pairs of them... :lmao:
