GRRRR Everyone may remember my earlier rant about my tour company..
Well they sent me a bologna e-mail about how we're not due a refund other than the dinner in the airport because when our bus broke down in New York we were on free time?? WHAT A CROCK. We missed the Statue of Liberty, we had something planned-- that was not free time. They are going to hear it from me tomorrow.
Not to mention that I was shoved into a room with four people which is NOT what I paid for.. there were other people who had their own ROOMS and we were all shoved in a room.. and I know it's minor, but sooo much crap went wrong they WILL GIVE ME MORE THAN A BLOODY TEN DOLLAR CHECK.

I am soooooooooo pissed off.

In NJ you can complain to the State Consumer Protection agency. here is West Virginia's site: http://www.wvago.us/frameset.html

If the agency is an ASTA member you can file a complaint with them:

Hmm... thanks, Bill. Interesting link.

I went to the WV one and learned the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg, where I live, is getting a 10,000 distriburion aimed at drug abuse prevention..

I was born here and didn't even know we HAD a Boys and Girls Club..

Hehe.

I'm not sure. The tour company isn't in WV and we flew out of Pittsburgh, which is technically where our tour "originated".. and all the complaints were in New York, London and Paris.. Amsterdam and Brussels were just fine ;)

It still may be worth a try. As a taxpayer and resident of WV, they may still be able to help you.at a minimum, point you in the right direction and save some time.

Has anyone gotten their documents yet? I guess it's still early, but I thought someone on here had gotten theirs?

no we haven't. But if any of you do, be the first to shout it out!

Hmm..I called the hotel we were GOING to stay at.. and it's $45 roundtrip to Universal by Taxi for two people.. I suppose, to get in for free.. that isn't bad.
And if I do it that way maybe my cousin will have the day off and I can convince him to pick us up :-P Or drop us off.
I'm not sure if I trust his driving, though. He's truly a scary individual.

Thanks for the help Bill. I'm going to wait until the tour company opens (at 9) and see what calling them and royally laying into them does. I'd be happy with just $50-75 dollars.. just SOMETHING from them instead of a bullcrap e-mail that doesn't even accurately address the issue.
I'm scary on the phone.
Alltel and Toshiba agents, when they pull up my account.. it automatically says to transfer me to a supervisor.. :rotfl:

Well shoot, it's telling me my other avatars are too big. :guilty:

The scene where she is kissing him and he's just grinning at her makes me melt!! :faint: I think they will end up together and Will will just save his father.

I think they're moving people around the ship too - it's different cabins that are available. I haven't been moved either - I booked a category I could afford, not that I necessarily wanted. I'm praying to at least end up with connecting cabins (we have adjoining now), so DH & I can stay in the same room together. ;)

What if you don't want to be moved? I'll only move if the room are connecting and its free. They'll ask you first right? I hope so!

That is so weird cause my parents were just asking me where I wanted to go for dinner and kind of jokingly (cause you know that place is expensive!) I said can we go to the melting pot?? And my dad said possibly! :rotfl: But then I said I wasn't hungry enough for MP...but now I'm getting hungrier by the second! :guilty: Oh well...I think we're going to a Japanese steakhouse! :goodvibes

DBF isn't too excited. Here's how the conversation went:

Kevin: "Baby, I want to take you out for our last night of shacking up. Were do you want to go?"
Kerry: "The Melting Pot"
Kevin:"I didn't mind taking you out for an expensive meal but to pay that much money to cook your food, I don't get it :confused3 "
Kerry: Okay, then a Japanese Steakhouse, you know the ones that have the guys cook at the table in front of you and do a little a show"
Kevin: "We'll just go to the Melting Pot."

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

I love Japanese Steakhouses. Apparently I will have to find someone else to go with.

Is everyone still participating in the Pirate goodies thing? I still see some grey on page 1, although I don't know if its updated completely.

I think Dawn is coordinating, right? It's probably getting to the point if nothing is on order, its too late to get an order in from any pirate place. But maybe there is stuff around because of POC movie. I guess about a week before the cruise I'll need a reminder as to who to bring the goodies to and how many. Every kid listed in the "24" is over 3, right? Some things may be choking hazzards for younger kids.

Hi everyone,

I took the DD's out to dinner. I have not gotten anything for land or cruise yet. Waiting! If I did not hound my TA I still would not know what flight I was taking. I think they are moving people all around. Not me though. Still in the same place. :thumbsup2

Anyone who has linked dining and gets their cabin assignment changed needs to let me know right away!
