I am sure the fantasy and dream are nicer but how many of you like the spa on the wonder for the rain forest pass :)

I like the Rainforest room on the Wonder, it's cozy and inviting and serene. I do enjoy the Fantasy with the open balcony and the big glass sauna and all that, but I like the Wonder's too.

I love the Rain Forest room on the Wonder. It is very calming and peaceful. I am not a daytime sleeper/napper, but have found myself dozing off in there just because it is so peaceful!

While I like the view of the heated loungers on the Dream, I like the actual loungers on the Wonder better. The Dream ones are just tiled (and therefore heated) on the top, whereas the Wonder ones are tiled (and therefore heated) all over, so the arm rests are heated and if I put one leg over the side, it will still be heated.

Thank you
So if I buy a day pass on line, am I better going to the spa on boarding day to tell them what date I would like?

I loved it on our last cruise. It's so nice and quiet and the tile chairs are wonderful.

I too said yes, but only if purchased for one or two days before the cruise not the week long pass available onboard.

It is a really neat experience! Love the relaxing music, hot and cold showers and saunas. I too would say yes for one or two days and not all week. I would also say get the day pass only if on a week or longer cruise. On the 3 and 4 day cruises there just isn't enough time to do it all.

I voted no. I had spa treatments and also bought the spa pass for the day. The spa is located under the basketball court so if thud, thud, thud is relaxing to you...then its a wonderfully relaxing place. It is coed, and rather awkward to me. I was in one of the "experience showers" and a dude was sitting there staring at me shower. Soooo relaxing! After about 45 minutes, I went back out to the spa desk and asked for a refund...and after some back and forth, they gave it to me and I left a happy customer. The robes are the same robes as in the gym...products the same in the gym showers and those are free, so really, you are paying for a hot rock lounger, a steam room and a sauna. If you get a group of people in there chatting, its hard to escape them because its one main room, with showers, a center seating area and the rock loungers all in the main area...and then a sauna on one side that was a decent size and a small steam room on the other.

EDIT: Also, the spa water and teas are also available to the gym guests, which is also free to grab whenever you feel like it. The station is not located in the rainforest room, but in the hallway between the rainforest room, check in area, massage rooms and the gym/locker room area.

Good question. We loved the Dream Rainforest because there was jacuzzis we could use with the pass. I haven't seen any in the Wonder? Anybody can confirm? Thanks in advance.

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but we're on the wonder for our first cruise this November, what is the rainforest room pass?

The Rainforest Pass gives you the access/the right to use a special room at the spa. On the Dream, we had access to certain showers, saunas, warm chairs and the jacuzzis. 16$/day.

Not sure what it includes on the Wonder. That is what I am trying to find out. I understand that on the Wonder they have showers, saunas, warm chairs... but not sure about the jacuzzis (I read somewhere else that they don't have it... which would be the deal breaker for me as I bought those pass 95% for the jacuzzis the last time).

No jacuzzis within the spa facility. Only on the pool deck. And the pass was around $30 on board after they added the mandatory-optional gratuity.

we purchased ours online before our cruise and it was more reasonable, around $18 + gratuity.

Have been in the Rainforest Room on the Fantasy and the Wonder several times. I like both, but they are definitely different experiences. On the Fantasy, the huge windows looking out from the jacuzzis and the saunas make the room bright. The multiple rooms and different showers make it feel more of an "experience". On the Wonder, the room is dark and quiet. There are no jacuzzis and fewer options for showers and steam rooms. I find it more relaxing, and as was mentioned previously, it is easy to snooze a bit in the heated loungers. It just depends on what you are looking for in terms of a spa experience.

How easy is it to get a heated lounger on the Wonder? I will be sailing with my Mom this cruise and we will want to relax in there together. It just seems like there are many people but not many heated loungers. Ours will be a five nighter. Thx.

we were on the wonder in early july (can't believe it's already been a whole week since we disembarked!). there are four heated loungers. i went there twice, once in the afternoon and the second time in the morning. both times my friend and i were able to secure a lounger. if they weren't available, we headed into one of the steam rooms or sauna. by the time we came out there were often two loungers available.
