Welcome to everyone joining!!
Just finished up my FEs yesterday, but haven't started to think about packing yet! Times have really changed for me because I used to be packed 2 weeks early!
A bit of Adventureland in this one...
Oh I like this too - it makes me feel nostalgic.....
Dylan'smom weren't you on the WBTA with us.
Yep!! Not sure if we got to meet, but I do remember your door..lol We had such a HUGE Dis group, and when we met in Promenade that first day, I couldn't begin to meet everyone...just sort of wandered in & out. I was traveling with a troupe of girlfriends & it was a crazy 2 weeks!! And you guys were in my FE group!!!! (Shhhhhhhh...I always do a modified version of the same FE - sorry it may be a duplicate)!
Hi!
....I saw an earlier post about alcohol and bottled water. Is there a limit how much you are allowed to carry on? I've read, somewhere online, that there's a limit of 2 bottles of wine per adult. Any insight? Not that I plan on drinking that much, but it would be nice to have the option to bring a few bottles extra for sharing and such.
Please wish me luck this week, my son is a late potty trainer, he'll be 4 in February and still not quite there. The threat of not swimming has not worked yet...a bit nervous of major meltdowns when his sister goes swimming and not him. (and I might need the wine referenced above to end the day with this going on!) Cheers!
Liz
No worries about amounts, Liz! There have been a few rumors of regulating what's brought on board, but I have seen everything from carry-ons overflowing with bottles, to a luggage rack loaded with full cases of beer & water wheeled on! When we did our EBTA out of Orlando in the spring, the dude at the security check asked if he could go with us when he saw our x-rayed carry-on, packed to the max with adult beverages!!
Oh, good, good luck with the potty training! My DS is now 20, but he was slow too - there just doesn't seem to be any rushing of some people (in more ways than one - he took his time at birth lol), but once he turned the corner, that was it - never an accident. Fingers crossed for you that his "time" has come. :]
Worked on part of FEs tonight. I still need to shop for stuff, too. I also need to find a suitcase, as my Mickey one broke after Alaska...

. I really need to work on my packing list and also send DHs suit pants to the cleaners. I hope I can get everything done this week. Are we really sailing in a week??? I am so ready but so not ready!
Just a thought - we usually bring anything that needs to be dry cleaned and/or pressed with us "as is" & send it out the first evening on board. It arrives back by the next afternoon, and has been done very nicely, and --is cheaper than getting it done where i live!! Press-only is half price, so I also launder some things if possible (not suits of course) and have them pressed! I usually have a separate bag with those items ready to pull out of the suitcase right away to make it easier - they often get wrinkled in transit anyway....just an option!!
Okay......time to go find the suitcases...lol Happy packing & safe travels, everyone!!
