Disney Wonder - May 29, 2017 (Alaska)

Good morning May 29th Cruisers! I would like to participate in the FE program, but I could use a little input. Our group is Anita (me) Mark (husband) and my daughter Miranda (23). My daughter Miranda is a disabled young adult, and loves all things Disney, especially the old school princesses. Although she is 23, she looks/presents like roughly a 12 year old girl. Do you all think that FE would be a good option for us? If so, could we be added to a group? We have no allergies, and we are in accessible room #7136, which has a very large balcony to accommodate her wheelchair, so we have the party deck! This is our 2nd cruise, but it's been a very long time I'd love to do mixology and a meetup, but not sure if we would be able to make it work. Any and all input and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Think it's a great idea! Especially if Miranda loves getting fun filled surprises

I definitely think you should participate! I'll make sure to send some "pixie dust" (gifts without being in your FE group) her way!!!

This is our first Disney Cruise. We are super excited. We are interested in participating in the FE. Jeremy (Dad) Tamra (Me) Lucas (7 M) and Eleanor (1 F) we are in room 5012 no allergies except for my husband who can't have chocolate. He's weird! lol. I saw you might be haveing a mixology class. Not sure what that is, though can someone explain what it is and what the cost includes? I do know that our family and the rest of my group would be interested in meeting up with other families. We are celebrating belated milestone birthdays and our first family vacation in a long time. Thank you so much for all the help and putting this on.
Also, is anyone else traveling with babies/toddlers?

Hey Everyone! My BF and I are pretty big into board games/card games! If we brought a team one ( like one night werewolf) would you guys want to get a group of people together to play?!

We always bring some too! But most of the time we never bring them out! We get caught up in Trivia and everything else going on. Also, the pub usually has board games out during the day so we have gone in there sometimes. Since I have 26 family members coming I probably can't plan a time to meet up right now but maybe it can happen (probably when we decide to hide, lol).

I have added your family to the Goofy Group! Let me know if anything needs to be corrected and I did add his chocolate allergy! That is one rough allergy, no chocolate? Ahhh!

For Mixology the cruise will have plenty of classes on-board featuring different alcohols and drinks but we are requesting private mixology sessions for anyone interested between here and the FB page. I think we have over 70 people interested right now. The class includes all the drinks that is mixed in your class, the drinks are usually mixed by those attending. On our last cruise our whole family had a chance to get in on the action! This is kind of how the class goes on the ship: http://www.wdwforgrownups.com/articles/try-mixology-class-disney-dream

This is the info I've been requesting for the signup list:
1. Booking for Group Mixology is 30 days before sail date so will finalize participants at that time
2. Groups can be as small as 20, large as 40 (depends on class)
3. Cost will be a minimum of $20 (depends on class)
4. DCL will provide available group sessions and we will work with those interested to join session that works best for them
5. We can request specific classes, if you have a preference please let me know!
6. We will need Names and Cabin Numbers of all participants to confirm booking because they will charge class to cabin

For meetup I know there are tentative plans to have one on Sunday night at the Pan Pacific Hotel before the cruise and I'm going to ask if someone wants to additionally organize one on the day we leave since I have a meeting with my planner so I won't be able to set it up.

I know my Cousin has a two year old that is coming along but I'm not sure who else is traveling with littles!

Hi! Just booked today!!! This is our 5th Disney cruise. We've only been to the Bahamas so far, but we're doing Alaska this year in honor of my daughter's high school graduation. Is it too late to get added to a FE group? We have a gty cabin, so I won't know the number until we get there (I think). Is that ok? Traveling are me (Traci), my 18 year old daughter (Katie) and 15 year old son (Andrew). The only allergy is shellfish for me, but I don't expect to find a lobster in my FE.

Yay! Glad you are here! I just started a Late FE under the name of Pluto Group, so I will add you to that. You will be the 3rd cabin in there so hopefully we keep getting some interest. Whenever you find out the cabin number (it should be before you get there) just let me know so I can update everyone! Hello! Yes we are traveling with my uncle who has fragile X. He's a bit older than 23,hes turning 50 this year and can get a little grumpy. This is going to be his third cruise, first Alaskan one though. I'll talk to my mom and see if we can meet up though!
