Hello everyone! Just got back from our annual Charleston vacation. It was HOT! The bad news is that it's just as HOT here at home. This year seems to be flying by, which is a very good thing! May will be here before we know it!

Yup, only 9 months to go! We've got a countdown going on our refrigerator, for our Disney trip (October) and the cruise! I'm telling ya, I cannot WAIT to be back in paradise, aka CASTAWAY CAY!!!

It will be me, dh, ds17, dd13 and my mom. DH and I sailed on the DVC member cruise last year, but it will be the first cruise for ds, dd and my mom. We have adjoining cabins on deck 6.

Thank you!! I am so happy to find a thread for our cruise!! I just can't wait! I booked this a couple of months ago, but have kept it a secret until my mom's birthday. Whew! It is such a big relief to be able to talk about and be excited about the cruise!!

By the way, does the "ks" in your user name by any chance stand for Kansas?

Wow! What an awesome surprise!!
We surprised our kids with a Disney trip once, for my son's 7th birthday. It was definitely the most memorable birthday. We flew to LA, rented a car and drove all the way to our hotel at the corner of Harbor and Katella, and the kids still had no clue what state we were in or where we were headed. The Disneyland sign was in plain sight!! I finally had to point it out. Of course, they have been keenly aware of trips we are planning every since then!

Hi fellow May 25th Wonder cruisers,

Just found these boards today and registered. We are booked on this cruise - our first!! Me, my dh, dd 13, & ds 9. We are also doing 6 nights after the cruise at WDW.

I have booked all of this as a Christmas surprise for my family. Plan on wrapping up the books, planning dvd's and a big card to open Christmas morning. Of course I am having such a hard time keeping the secret.

Am a little worried about dd 13 getting into the cruise. She is a little shy and am afraid won't try the teen activites. She may surprise me, but if not, we will still have fun as a family. My ds 9 is less timid and will probably just jump right into things.

Am excited!

Okay, I am writing again. Is it 5 families so far on this cruise? And a mother? Also, looks like there might be a few dd in the early teen years like my dd.

Yes, my dd is in 7th grade and she will also be 13 when we cruise. She would love to have people her age to hang out with for the teen activities!

We're less than 5 months away! I just got back last week from my birthday/Christmas trip at WDW. It was so much fun! I hated to come home, but at least I have something BIG to look forward to!
