I read in a post on the main board that possibly they aren't doing the Pirates deck party on the MR cruises, that it might be Mexican Minnie. Did anyone else "hear" this rumor?

Southwest Air will start booking flights thru March 11 on August 17. So I would assume sometime in September is when they will open up past March 11.

I am also waiting for JetBlue but can't find on their website any info on when they open their booking window past January ? They offer great deals from PDX to LGB and allow 1 free bag per person so I'm hoping.

After all the reading I'm doing about the FE and the gifts, I am going to first try to get tickets on Southwest. I need all of the free baggage space I can get!

We're flying out of PDX too...so we'll probably be on similar flights.

How is the FE list looking? How many people have joined in? I've already starting making some FE gifts. It keeps me busy, but answering the kid questions is interesting. Now I'm questioning my decision to give them the cruise for Christmas.

I was told by a DCL rep that they DO plan to do the Pirate Party like they have done on previous MR cruises in 2005 and 2008. I think the Mexican Minnie event is a daytime thing.

We'll have to wait until trip reports start being posted for the MR cruises in January to know exactly what they are doing about the Pirate Party.

I believe I read that the Minnie's Fiesta was going to be the sail away party, but we'll have to wait and see.

For those who are flying, does anyone have any suggestions about how to get to the port? We will be flying in the day before, and I am not sure if I need to rent a car or if there is some type of shuttle that we can take.

I'm looking into shuttles. I will let you know what I find.

Right now our plan is to go to Disneyland for a day and a half before the cruise. I'm hoping to be staying at Paradise Pier if I can get a good price.

We have taken a taxi to the port the two times we have flown in, we usually drive since we live 300 miles away. If you are flying in the day before the cruise, check with your hotel to see if it has an airport shuttle. If you are going to the Disneyland there is a shuttle bus that goes back and forth to the disney hotels all day. I think the last shuttle leaves at 8pm.

Shuttles are great but they do charge per person so you need to shop around.

Well, I am excited to say that we paid our deposit!!

I can't wait for this cruise! The 20th of March is my and DH's anniversary so that'll be a nice trip for us to celebrate with.

We both need to celebrate! My DH and I will be celebrating our Anniversary on board as well. March 22nd, 8 years for us!

I think I can now officially say that we will be joining you guys! It will be me (30), DH(29), DD(6/7 her birthday will be during the cruise), and DD(5).

I have wanted to go on a Disney cruise for so long and with the KSF it is finally possible for us. We have been bouncing around changing our cabin, right now we are in an inside, but I'm hoping an OV will pop up and we can switch. Looking forward to getting to know everyone, FE exchange sounds like so much fun!

Hi, my DS will be celebrating his Birthday on the cruise as well.... He turns 6 on March 21st! Great day to be at sea....

If I added correctly so far, and kept everyone's information straight, we have 47 cabins participating as of July 18th!!

I'm going to add in Red the number of cabins by your name that I think you have, and if I am wrong, please correct me! I need to have an accurate count of how many cabins will be in our FE so I can share and plan the info with everyone.....
Going forward, if you add your name to the list please include the following:
