Hey Deanna where have you been? I thought you jump ship. lol. We have had few hot days here in Cali. 102 I can't wait for the sea breeze to bring in the fog. Started work on my FE gifts, and designed Amanda's and Rena formal dresses, on paper that is. I will start making the dresses in Jan so I won't have to worry about them growing out of them before they have a chance to wear them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has started working on the FE gifts. I wondered if I was the only one.

I wonder how big our group will be by March. Anyone want to make some guesses? I'm going to guess 50 groups.

Can you tell that I'm just cruise crazy? It's all I can think about and I have a family reunion that I leave for in 3 days! I need to get my mind on that instead.

susan i totally understand, i just posted on the main FE thread (for all cruises) that i am still 8+ months out and have already bought plus keep having more ideas. at first i thought the idea of shipping a box ahead of time was extreme now... yeah not so much. i keep coming up w/ more ideas to exchg and i too am leaving next wk to cali then wk after to OH and am having to MAKE myself stop shopping for fabric, iron on's gift ideas etc. thank goodness i just finished the 77 pgs of the FE thread so i don't "have" to read that every day anymore, lol!

i am SO glad our group is so big, i felt so bad for those who posted on the FE thread that there was no one interested in the FE exchg! :0(

i'm no longer shooting for an # (was going for 100 but...) i'll just have to get creative when the time comes. thank goodness kids will be in school so i can think! not sure i could get this all together w/ kids running around me all day (like they are now) for a summer cruise!

i too am planning to make dd a formal dress, we will also have 3 other little girls that are 7 and under in our group, i'm still debating whether i can take that on or not (one is a sil and two are neices).

i think we might want to start a "don't" forget thread. is there a way to make another thread just for our group? or is there another thread on dis that has this kind of info?

toescat, We just got back from a long rv trip out west. We did the Grand canyon and colo. had fun nice weather. We got back to Ar. it was really hot and humid. Have fun making the dresses I bet they will be cute. Deanna

I love the idea of a don't forget thread.

I have this LONG list of cruise tips and ideas that I need to condense since it has the same tips several times. I will pass that on when I get it together (once kids are in school and not questioning my every move).

I like a big group too. Our first Disney Cruise had about 10 staterooms in our group and I'm excited to have more people. My husband is a little worried about getting all the FE gifts aboard, but I think shipping them in advance might be the perfect solution. Of course an empty suitcase to pack up our trip purchases isn't a bad thing either. Come on Southwest Airlines, have some good deals so I can have free baggage!

Even though they stopped promoting the KSF on the website, the code still works but the only room available is for just 1 kid and they have 2. Tried the midnight thing. We are pacific time so I tried periodically from 9 PM till Midnight. No luck. There was a 9B for 3 people but no rooms for 4. I booked the 9B in hopes of changing it/ adding the 1 kid but it sounds as though that is a long shot. I will keep checking though. Their kids get along great with my kids so it would be such a blast!

We just got back from our family vacation to California, and I had a lot of reading here to catch up on.

Deanna23, we live in Sherwood so we are not far from you guys in Cabot at all.

Now that I am done with our California vacation, I need to get busy and start thinking about FE gifts for this cruise. I am so ready to go and I know my boys are as well.

I don't think I am crafty enough to actually make a FE so I may resort to buying one on ebay. There were some really cute ones there.

HI Everyone..... I'm back.

I stepped away for a while and WOW! Did our group grow or what?? AWESOME!! The more the merrier...

We took a 4 day trip to Disneyland and stayed at Paradise Pier and the Grand Californian! Had an awesome time and the new World of Color show took my breath away! I loved traveling back as far as Fantasia and seeing Mickey in his sorcerer hat projected on a fan of water... AMAZING!

So excited about all of the new people, and congrats to everyone that jumped on the KSF promo. I tried to add 2 kids into my existing second cabin, but no luck. no more 4 person cabins available right now. But I'll keep trying.

I'm going to organize everyone and see what we have so far for FE and give everyone an update as soon as I can. I will be sending PM's to some of you who have offered up help with the FE, so thanks in advance for any info.

And I too will be getting Pirate costumes for everyone in my group. I missed out on the first cruise, so now that i've seen the lengths that people go to, I am IN!! Party City in California has costumes year round too, and if you join their e-mail club, you get a coupon on a $25 purchase. Woo Hoo...

i saw on the huge FE thread that one group updated their #'s on the first post of their meet thread. would it be possible to do that for ours so we dont' have to scroll thru all the posts to find the updated #'s? i know toescat is keeping track of some part of it and she has a post on the first page so maybe we can ask her to do that on her post? just a suggestion.

also, i am still happy to work on this with you so let me know what i can do. it's just about killing me to have to "turn off the disney" for the a bit in preparation for a vacay to CA next wk. but when we are back...and especially once kids are back in school aug 11...LOOK OUT! i am going to be a sewing, crafting maniac!! all disney style! lol!

Oh my gosh! We just signed up for our first cruise ever! Myself, husband and daughter (8) will be on board. I'm so excited!

I'm a planner and my eyes are rolling in the back of my head!!!! Reading all of the posts...i have so much to learn! I would like to join the 'FE' exchange...i need to learn a little more about it. Some kind of fish hanger for the door, purchase pirate costumes, etc, etc. We are cat 10C, but 'gty' status so we don't have an assigned room yet.

I have to say...I really like the group! We are going to have so much fun. I'm glad i found you shipmates!
