We are flying in the day before the cruise. I have been pricing shuttles...Gosedan.com $130 each way, Super Shuttle $84 each way and Zippyshuttle.net looks like $70 each way. I need to talk to the other families in our group and see what they want to do.
We are staying at the Crowne Plaza and using their shuttle in the morning.
I am so ready to go on this cruise!!! Only just over 2 months to go!!!

We took a cab from LAX twice and the cost was a total of $50.00 for all four of us in the cab, but that was when gas was a lot less. I took a cab in San Francisco right before Christmas and it cost me $11 and I only in the cab for 5 minutes.

I glad you are flying in on Friday, with Minnesota weather (I am a tranplant from Grand Rapids Mn) you never know when the snow is going to create travel problems. By the way how is my beautiful Minnesota.

I am so on cruise mode, we have our suit case out and have been putting things in it, but we have been doing that since July. I am going to weed it out this weekend.

People are having problems finding the kids facebook group since people wanted me to change it to private or closed. In order for everyone to join it, I think I need to change it back to public.

Those of you that are worried about your child's safety on the group need to know that I am monitoring the group and get emails anytime something happens on it. I would take care of any issues and kick off anyone that we find is not with our cruise group.

Maybe once the majority of the kids that want to join it have, I can set it back to closed or private.

I think when you make it private, you have to actually invite the people you want to join. So, if you make it private, people need to send you their facebook name so you can invite them. I think that's how it works.

It doesn't give the option to invite people. Only option it gives me is to add friends, which is only my current facebook friends. Just tried to add someone who isn't a friend that has been trying to get on and it ignored me.

I see. I remember I set one up for a girls trip to Vegas. Yes, that must be it! they do have to be your friends.

You know what? I don't think anyone outisde the group is going to pop up on there. It's an obsure name for a facebook page and I don't think anyone will find it doing a search.

Don't sweat it. It really depends on what you can give. some people give one gift per cabin and some people give a gift per person. Usually when we get FE gifts they are in a little goody bag. It really can be anything - candy, homemade crafts, magnets, etc... Sometimes we just get one Disney Pin.
Last trip I went on I just put my stuff in ziploc bags and delivered one bag per cabin. I felt bad when I saw some other people's decorated bags. some people really put a lot into it. You just do what you can. No-one is expecting Oprah's favorite things in their FE.

Does anybody know if are going to split into two group?

We stay at the same hotel that we have stayed at for the last 15 cruises. It is an ok hotel, nothing to shout about, but we can leave our car there while we are crusing and do not have to pay to park, which is very nice.

What hotel are you staying at? I would love free parking while we are on the cruise!

The list on the boards are just the people going on the cruise that have checked into the thread. They had to send a pm to ethanash1 to get on the fe list.

Cyndi just responded to my facebook message and she is making it her project today and said she will have the list posted tonight.

HI ALL!!!

I'm back, and working hard to get the list up for our FE. Thanks for all your patience and not killing me..... Now that the Holidays are over, i can focus on our upcoming cruise, and enjoy doing it....

I am going through my spreadsheet right now, and adding and dropping people per the PM's I have received in the last few months.... it's taking some time.

I will post a master list in about an hour, and hopefully it looks good. If you do NOT see your name, and you should be on the list, please post on here AND send me a PM so I can make sure I get it.

If you see your name on the list and you will NOT be participating, please do the same so I can remove you....

OK, I think we struck GOLD!!

There are 4 groups.... just so everyone knows how I did this, I want to fill you all in...

I split the groups into 13 cabins each. Then I went through and evened out the number of people in each group. 2 of the groups have 46 members, and 2 of the groups have 47 members..... so overall, everyone is looking at an average of 50 individual gifts, or 13 cabin gifts.... whatever you choose.

If anyone thinks we should do 5 groups of 10 or so....please speak up and if that is the consensus, then I will change it....

Thanks to everyone again for your patience as I had some personal struggles over here from Sept until now.... it's better a bit, but this takes my mind off things...

It's a little hard to read.... I will try to fix it tomorrow, but I just wanted you all to have it so you can at least start doing what you all need to....

The first number is the total people in the cabin, then the cabin number (if I have it), then the persons name, age and gender (if it's a child) .
so for the first one, there are 5 people in the cabin, adults Steve and Senya, and kids Peyton whos a 9 year old boy, Colin who is a 7 year old boy, and Kiera who is a 3 year old girl... Hope that makes sense to eveyone.

I will figure out a better way tomorrow....
