We are in! DH and I will be taking a cruise without our kids this time. We've been on the Magic (2000) for our honeymoon, and went on the Fantasy in 2010 with our kids. Looking forward to checking out the Wonder!

I just ready a thing about fish extender exchange does anyone know more about this? Or how to get started with this?

I don't even know what a fish extender is. Sorry.

A fish extender is a little pocket that you hang on the outside of your door when you cruise. There are little hooks by each room in the hallway that are shaped like fish, hence when you hang the pocket on it, it "extends the fish".

Anyway, people cruising together sometimes form groups, and leave little gifts for their fellow cruisers in their fish extenders. Gifts can range in variety...we got everything from magnets to christmas ornaments to liquor (no longer allowed!) to hair accessories for our kids! Our last cruise we participated in one and it was great fun! I didn't organize it, and am not sure I'd know how to...but I would certainly participate again!

I am hoping to find a group to do fish extender with about 5-10 ppl. We are a family of 2 adults and a little one that is 2. So if there is anyone out there wanting to do it with us that would be awesome!!

We will see how big this group gets as the date gets closer. The last time we cruised, we closed the FE group a month before the cruise, so we have some time to see if others will join. I would be glad to participate again!

Our family would love to participate in it. I just cannot organize it. I just don't have the time.

In the FE that I participated in someone set up a Google spreadsheet that way we could all edit it. It had info such as


stateroom number
Family Last Name
First names/gender and age of those partipating
Any special Celebrations on board
List 1-2 favorite characters for each
shirt size for all participants Email where final doc can be sent
Any other info/comments you would like to share
Location of cabin List any allergies ANY ALLERGIES

Hi all! We just booked this cruise and I am so excited!

First Disney cruise for us but we have done other lines. It's me, my hub, our 7 year old, and my sister.

I would definitely participate in the FE trade. Anything to make it even more magical for our little ones, right?
