Ain't that the truth. I saw the article yesterday and thought "Oooh! Some info about the Wonder's upcoming dry dock."

Nope. Instead we get "the Wonder's going in for a dry dock. Might or might not end up looking more like the Magic. Take a look at some pictures of the Fantasy."

There is always mystery surrounding DCL ships especially when it comes to refits, they usually keep a lot of the details under wraps simply because some changes are on the drawing boards literally up to the time the ship actually enters the dry dock. Trying to remain cutting edge and provide passengers the most exciting and fun experience on their cruises pushes the Imagineer's to their limits in what they can introduce to each ship, while still maintaining safety, security and most of all being durable while still being imaginative. There is also the maritime regulations about what can be done to any passenger ship so those factors have to be taken into consideration. With the Wonder being a "sister" ship to the Magic, the first major renovation of the Magic was their opportunity to bring some new and fresh changes to that ship, now that they've had a few years to see how those affected the overall operation, they can tweak and refine those to be brought to the Wonder. That being said, just mirroring the Magic on it's re-imagining is something I don't think (IMHO) that DCL will do, since so much new technology is available every year I am hoping to see some of that being brought forward to he Wonder. I suspect and hope that they'll be adventurous and introduce some totally new features to the Wonder and that will enhance this elegant 17 yr old classic and remain one of the best experiences cruising available to families there is. (By the way I'm partial to the Wonder, only sailed on her so far and we consider her our "home" ship)
