Anyone want to do Fish Extender's on this sailing?!?! If so, send me a private message including your cabin # and number of people in your cabin and I will start a list and keep it updated.

Don't know what fish extenders are?
Well, Disney Cruise line has a metal fish outside every cabin door and something can be hung from them. A fish extender is a fun-fabric thing with pockets that is hung from the metal fish! Those participating will go to each cabin on the list and leave little notes or gifts in the pockets! This is done throughout the cruise, and it's a load of fun! It's super exciting to come back from a long day and find a little treat waiting for you! You could also come back and find a note saying, if you want to meet so-in-so, they'll be in what-ever location until whatever time! It's a wonderful way to meet fellow-DISboarder's and the ideas for gifts are endless! Generally, people will also decorate their cabin doors!

My DB (53) and I(49) are going on this cruise and I want to do FE. This will be my 5th cruise but I have never done FE. Can Adults only play? I'm already making my gifts, can't wait.

I hope Mindy doesn't take offense, but we haven't heard back as to whether or not they are sailing on the 23rd, 30th, or in March - so I've taken it upon myself to start the FE list for this sailing! My hope is that starting a new thread will also put it at the top of the list and get more people interested! I saw you wanted to do them, so I included you on the list - I hope that's OK. If not, let me know and I will remove you. If you do want to remain on that list, please send me a private message with your cabin # and # of people in your cabin!

With the fish extenders, it would be nice to get a big group but so far we don't have much of a crowd of people posting on this thread.

I'm sorry for so many posts, but I don't know how everyone receives their alerts, so I'm replying to everyone individually (a lot with the same message).

To try and combat our problem of not having enough people for FE's, I've started my own list in a new thread! Hopefully getting this at the top of the post list will draw more attention to it. I've also included a description and pictures for those who don't know what FE's are!

I just wanted to make sure that you also put this up on your Cruise Meet Thread for the date of your sailing so that you will be sure to get all the folks planning to take that trip up to speed.

Have a wonderful trip and a great time with the FE exchange. I spent the better part of yesterday looking at all the artistic and creative things folks have done as their contributions to FE exchanges and got very inspired.

If you haven't seen this thread, be sure to check it out. Some of these things will just blow your mind!

Aww, we're sorry to hear that! But, we know you'll have a wonderful time on your July cruise!

Also, this may sound stupid and please excuse my ignorance, but I'm new to DISboard posting (my husband usually does it). What is a cruise meet thread and where can I find that?!?!? THANKS!

Nevermind - I found it! I'm actually already on that post, but, the person who said they were going to arrange FE's hasn't been responding so I took it upon myself to try and arrange them. Unfortunately, I didn't know where else to put it! Maybe I'll just copy the list into that string and keep it going in both (just keep both of them updated). That gives more chances that someone will see it!

OK, so, don't everybody hate me! I'm sorry about all of the duplicate posts. My husband is the one who usually does the DISboard posts, so these are newer to me!

It has come to my attention that this "cruise meet" area is probably the better place to keep/arrange the list for fish extenders. Because of that I will just keep a running list in both threads. Besides - that just means that more people might see it!
