One other family so far is bringing their 4 year old.
On our last cruise, we put together a toddler play date early in the cruise to give the kidsand parents a chance to meet. It was a big hit.[/QUOT
Yes my daughter will be 4 when we cruiseAnyone else bringing little little ones (Ie Pre-K or K)??
Part of that involved changes to the water system for the pools/AquaDunk. Including taking away the secret deck on deck 7 for the mechanics. And with those additions, the duck tail is necessary (from what I've read). So, I'm not sure they would make those changes just yet.You know what would be cool?
If during dry dock, the Wonder gets the same upgradesto the pool deck that the Magic got.
The Magic got a nice large water play splash zone that is a great area for toddlers to romp around in (and bigger kids / kids at heart as well).
Well, if we can't get the updated pool deck, I am good with still having the secret deck!Part of that involved changes to the water system for the pools/AquaDunk. Rumor has it that the locks will be finished this summer, but I would imagine there will be a bunch of testing before they are in actual use. I could be wrong about that.Well, if we can't get the updated pool deck, I am good with still having the secret deck!
I have heard that as for the duck tail addition, they are waiting for the new Panama Canal additions to be up and going. Which seems to be running into problems with a crack in the concrete of one of the locks.
Only time will tell.
Believe me, everyone on our cruise, along with everyone on cruises following the dry dock, will be watching and waiting to see what happens!Rumor has it that the locks will be finished this summer, but I would imagine there will be a bunch of testing before they are in actual use. I wish I could help but I don't know of anything.Saw your post and looked it up. I found this website: http://www.scootaround.com/
Also, have you contacted your airline and or the airport you'll be flying into? If you do they have to help you. They can also point you in the right direction on where you can find everything you need in Galveston and Puerto Rico
We ran into a similar situation when our eldest was taking his graduation trip. Beings that we home school, we don't always stick to a traditional calendar, thus his graduation was not at a typical time. We wanted the room decorated for him, but they did not have anything available at that time.So I called Disney cruise and I am so sadIt is minor but something I really wanted to do for my daughter. They had a Frozen Stateroom experience that I wanted to buy and they said they are no longer doing it. It was a pillow, throw, magnet and decorations I think a frame too. They would have come into the room before we got there to decorate it and I wanted to say it was from Anna and Elsa. My daughter is a bit obsessed with Frozen. I really hope they create a new one so I can do that for her

Thank you for the tip!! I am anxious to get her signed up so I will do that first thingOh, and another thing we problem solved on our last cruise, was the autographed pillow cases. You mentioned the pillow, and it reminded me of this.
Just before our last cruise, Disney ended the drop off autograph availability. Many of us on the board at the time had planned on using that service. When we learned that we could no longer drop the pillow cases at guest services, we all put our heads together, and came up with the idea of locating pictures of character autographs online before sailing, and arranging them on one sheet that could be printed and used as an iron on, or a template. That allowed those who did not want to carry the pillow case around to all of the character meets to be able to give their kiddos a bit of magic in the form of an autographed pillow case keepsake.
One other note on Anna and Elsa...Something you will want to do as soon as you board, is find out where the sign up for the Elsa and Anna meet and greet is. We also had a princess meet and greet, and a character breakfast that we could sign up for on boarding day. All of these are free activities, but you must sign up for them, and the availability is limited.
I heard that some people used the autographs for picture frame matting as well. If you decorate the room in a Frozen theme, you might be able to do a picture frame with autographs from Anna and Elsa.Thank you for the tip!! I am anxious to get her signed up so I will do that first thingGreat idea about the pillowcase.
Here are some prices and times I came up with when looking at Jan. 2016. We are staying 1 night, so I looked for flights on Friday.Anybody looked at airfares and gotten numbers IE Southwest to Hobby from PR?
If you decide to join us, just let me know, and I will add you to our group.you may be able to add us to your ranks tomorrow. Our first trip Concierge so we're having trouble pulling the trigger, I am also debating trying out RCL for the first time- I'll let you know![]()
Where are these flying from? My airport codes are SYR and ROCHere are some prices and times I came up with when looking at Jan. 2016. We are staying 1 night, so I looked for flights on Friday.
-Southwest to Hobby- I believe this was flying out around 4:30 - 5 PM and arriving around 10 PM - $207 / PP (free bags)
- United to Houston (George Bush Intercontinental) - same time frame as above - $202 / pp
-American to Houston (George Bush Intercontinental) - same time frame as above - $205 / pp
- Jet Blue to Orlando - 5:50 AM - $140 / pp + Spirit to Houston - 12:13 PM arriving 1:50 PM - $23 = $163 / pp {only negative is you have to claim
and recheck your luggage in Orlando}
I am going to continue watching the prices. Last week, the flight availability was only open to the first week in Jan. And based on how the prices vary from month to month, it looks like our best prices will be available about 3 to 4 month out ( just around the time our final payments are due, and online checking slots begin to open up).
