Disney Wonder Dining Solo

I am cruising solo on the Disney Wonder, and I am wondering about if I am able to get a table in the main dining rooms alone, as I have requested this. If I am not assigned a solo table, how have other solo travelers been assigned?

I’ve been solo and requested a private table. I’ve always gone to the dining room changes location (varies by ship) as soon as I get on board to verify. Only once was I assigned a group table but the dining manager was able to change me to a private table on the spot. All the rest of the time I got the table requested. I think it helps that I always request late dining.

I have been on a ship where they were not able to give me a private table - it turned out ok. It was 2 BFFs who had just graduated from college, a mom and her college-age daughter and me.

They try to honor requests but sometimes they simply cannot.

Is this a down under cruise? It will depend upon how busy the ships are. But, as it's the last season in Australia / New Zealand and there's been a wide variety of discounts, it's possible most sailings are near capacity. Initial reports are that the ships are very full.

Pre-kids, we were often seated at group tables with solo travellers. They were almost always lovely and nice to chat to over dinner and around the ship.

I've done 2 cruises solo, with my 3rd in 2 weeks. The first I was seated with 6 other people (3 pairs), and the second I got my request of a private table
