We've always booked rooms on deck 2 on the Wonder (and Magic - same deck plan). It's our favorite spot.

A 9C will be more forward or aft, not midship.

We have chosen deck 2 aft for our last three cruises on the wonder and love the location. I was nervous as I read reviews that it sounded and felt like a train was vibrating the room but did not find that to be true. I am a light sleeper and the only time any noise woke me was when we were pulling into port and we needed to get up anyway. I also think that there is less movement on deck 2 than up higher. It's close to the Walt Disney theater so we could run to our room and not have to worry about the elevator crowds. The only thing it was far from was deck 11 but when we were up there, it was for quite a while. Our last set of rooms was 2646 & 2648. I would book them again! Hope that helps!

We love Deck 2 and have stayed in both Forward and Aft 9Cs. The one thing you want to look at is what is directly above your staterooms. If they are under the nightclubs you will hear the music/activity until about 2am. As long as you avoid that area, Deck 2 is a wonderful location for a stateroom.

My favorite spot on the classics is Deck 2 far forward, usually port side but trying starboard next year. (If you're port, you are under the piano bar and you won't get noise unless they are moving the piano.)

we always stay cat 9b midship on deck two. But the last cruise was with a large group of people and there were some cabins that needed connecting rooms. They were as nice and as convenient as our rooms farther forward. We did notice more "white noise" in this area but it by no means bothered anyone. DW is a very light sleeper and she slept better on the ship than at home or WDW.

We did have mechanical noises in our 9C aft room (2632) going into and out of port. Not enough to really bother us though. For our next cruise, we did book a higher floor with a veranda, but I wouldn't be opposed to sailing 9C again.

Always stayed on deck 2 when on the Wonder and Magic. We've stayed just aft of the elevators. Not much halfway traffic and quick ride up to the buffet.

My favorite spot on the classics (2050 is under guest services back room/hallway). I just gave up that cabin for the 2015 EBPC because we upgraded to a veranda! :cool1:

Thanks Everyone!!!. We are so excited, we ended up with two connecting rooms
2122 and 2124, we are truly excited!!!. :yay:, and so close to home .

We were in 2024 on the Wonder and found it to be a great location! No noise at all and handy to head up the stairs to the WD Theater, adult area or the gift shops.

We stayed in 2124 before. Liked it so much booked it again for Oct 2015.

We were just on the 15 night Panama in 2038 and 2040 connecting. Rooms/location were great.

Has anyone stayed in 2614? When reading reviews, I can never find any on that room, I know we are right next to the elevator, but don't know anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated, we're first time cruisers, so I have no clue about anything :)

We have always stayed on Deck 2, but midship. You are close to the aft elevators which is a quick trip up to the drink station; a great benefit for morning coffee!

I actually booked this cabin for the October 2015 Mexico cruise. I love being near aft elevators because it's so close to the MDR's, BBB, beverage station, children's pool, & Buena Vista Theater. I wanted to be port side on deck 2 because I read reports that the starboard side is under the kitchen areas & they heard noise. If you look under DISboards, under Wonder, you can search for cabin reviews specific to a cabin number.
