I am so sorry I have not been around here, but the last three weeks were so busy with work and then last Friday I was ready to post a photo when the attacks on Paris took place.

But I am ready now to post another countdown pic.

Just booked this cruise ! It will be me (Gina),husband,Bruce and SIL ,Cindy. We love Disney and love to cruise !
This will be our 15th on Disney. Bruce's 1st time doing the Panama Canal. My Mom and I sailed through the canal on Holland America ,really cool ! We usually have some of our 10 Grandchildren with us, but not this time. Bruce and I will be celebrating our 40th anniversary. I plan to join the FE...lots of fun ! Bruce's rolling his eyes cause he knows how I get carried away planning the gifts
Look forward to meeting everyone and hearing about everyone's plans !

Wanted to let everyone know, we booked a tour with Dora. She said we were the 1st 3 to sign up.

They go to Manga, visiting the main monuments in the city. La Popa visiting the monastery and chapel. Then San Felipe de Barajas fort. Then drive around the walled area. The old city and plazas. Photo stop at the Palace of the Inquisition. Stop at the Dungeon, where today are lots of shops. Visit San Pedro Claver Church. Then to the new city visiting Pierino Mall.

On a side topic: We have found that food tours, not just in Cartagena, are important to us. Like, all of the excursions require a food element for us! Lol funny, huh?
Does anyone else find aspects for their family that is important while planning this vacation?
So for us, it's food while experiencing the culture and onboard it's making sure we have quality time ^_^

Glad someone else has a problem with the "leaving Friday" concept as well.

The photo is one of my favourite memories of the Wonder. There were nearly no people up on deck when Goofy and those two girls came along and we got one of the best character interactions ever.

Even better that you're able to fly from home

Somehow we have gone past the age where a two hour train ride is fun before and after a trip, so flying from our home town seems to be the best (well, I am very tempted to say - ONLY) option for us. Therefore, we are more than limited in airlines - only Lufthansa flies out of here, so we are dependent on what they offer.
They started offering premium economy (which is only two seats next to each other left and right of the middle row and a little more legroom) some time ago, but it adds to the cost. Thankfully I was able to find the rate I did. It is still costly, but at least it is within reason.

Nope, we can buy online ones and send them to someone in the US (which we do for friends' kids' birthdays). And if you figure in that we have to pay for exchanging currency (even for a cc payment) and postage, it would not be a good deal.
Ah well, we will survive.

Food tours are pretty fun - you got me thinking. But on the other hand I like Dora's tour. Guess a little more research is in order. I guess I need to find out if they do private tours that include "some kind of food" as well.

We did an awesome food tour in Grand Cayman and I am trying to get in contact with the tour providers in Cozumel again. They are offering a tour there. We have been to Cozumel several times and if I cannot find something really interesting (just like a food tour) I guess we will just stay on board.
