Disney Wonder arrives!

A very nice moment this morning seeing the Disney Wonder arrive in my home city. A very nice feeling having to normally fly 14+ hours, to now only have to drive 30 mins to port! Who wants my DVC points for the winter? I’m cruising baby! ….well actually I’ll still do both.

We just disembarked from the Magic last Thursday. Throughout the last half of our 14 night cruise, we watched the map channel which showed when the Wonder was approaching the equator. I missed the exact moment that it crossed the equator and entered the southern hemisphere. It was already there when we woke up in the morning.
Being a bit of map channel nerd, I couldn't help but show dh and cheer the Wonder on.

We were monitoring her travel when in Cove Cafe. I took photos of the screen after they left Hawaii to begin their journey, and on our last day when they were in the South Pacific.

So cool to have DCL in my home city. My cruise in January can’t come soon enough. Very exciting!

We went down in the middle of the night and watched her come in and then went back the next afternoon to see her move from White Bay to Circular Quay. It was lovely and so exciting.
