Hi everyone
We are on this cruise and with the holidays around the corner figured I would check the DISBoards for a meet, before I completely forget. We are doing a B2B, this being the first leg.
We have been on several disney cruises starting back in 2003. We are also from LI, NY
Not sure yet about FE, what is the cutoff date? Ya know just in case.... I'm not yet into the Disney spirit yet. Also last year we had 3 lists with 103 people. That was tough, but fun.
Are there any kids around 7-9 on board. My DS will be 9 on this one so hoping he makes a few friends to hang out in the kids club. He loves cooking and making cookies with Goofy in the club, and the PJ party. Looking forward to hearing back from everyone.

Our DS loves the club so I'm not too worried, just thought it would be nice if recognizes a few faces so that we don't get wave phone buzzing to come pick him up during our Palo dinner or Spa appointment. He made a great email pal from Europe (mom is a member of the Dis boards here) on our last cruise and they still write each other.

Did we ever decide how many cabins to a group? I'm looking to start getting my gifts put together, but have kind of been waiting for the group to close so I know exactly what I'm getting and for whom. Was it 15 cabins? If so, is the current list closed, or will there be a few more added?

There will be no more than 15 cabins in a group, for now the first group is closed and I will start a new one. with that being said if people drop out of the first list the actual people might change.

Welcome! We are from Long Island also (Farmingdale). My daughter, Abigail will be 7 at the time of the cruise and my son, Chester will be 4. Both are very outgoing and can't wait to meet other kids in the kids clubs.

Hi Neighbor, our DS will be 9, we will be celebrating his 9th BDay on this one, and hoping he gets to know some friends. We did an OBB for this on our last cruise February 2015 and this was the least expensive cruise in 2016, and we planned to change when we got the kids school 15-16 schedules, well we were totally surprised by the break split and maybe Disney knew something we didn't.. The timing of this cruise worked out well with flights too, I would have thought Southwest would start price gauging when they found out Spring break was split but they didn't and we got decent price too.
Last February the prices were upwards of 450 one way so we were bit scared and again totally surprised by the low cost. So we kept it as is.

I haven't heard of anything yet, but if there are, we'd certainly love to join in! Our last cruise we made some great friends that we met at the meet and greet, always love meeting more new people!
