Disney Wonder 10/26/14 - Western Caribbean

Hi we are excited to go on our second cruise in October next year. There are 13 of us going. Myself (husband refuses to go on a cruise) my DD her husband and their DDs who will be 7 and 5 and baby who will be about 7 mos old, and my DS his wife and their DD 14 and DSs 11, 6, 4 and 3.
We had been booked and fully paid on the March 2nd cruise when my DD found out she was pregnant and due on March 2nd and since they frown on given birth at sea we switched our dates so we can include baby on our trip.
It seems soooo far away but it will come fast.
Who is going to be cruising with us this go round? We already have lots of FE ideas.

I am the wife of her ds mentioned above. It is officially 1 year to sail date.

After being only 8months away and really getting excited then having to move dates I am finally getting excited again even tho we have another year to wait. I am definitely doing the fe again once someone starts it. Every time I go somewhere or see something cute I'm thinking if it would be good for fe or how I can turn it into an fe gift! Lol. ... I am a little bummed that there is no action on our cruise when I noticed there is a thread for next Sept that is already in their second thread. .... but I'm sure our time will come otherwise we just might be the only ones going on this cruise. ;-) But I'm sure that Disney won't let that happen so I can't wait to get to know everyone else!

As you can tell from our previous posts we have been waiting for a long time to go on this cruise.

LOL! I know what you mean! We booked a few weeks after the itineraries came out We have our countdown board up and the app downloaded on our phones 302 days to go! I thought more people signed up early?

So did we. z Our first cruise we had a bunch of people chatting away for the longest time and we chatted almost every day on our facebook page. We still chat on there and talk of our post cruise lives. It was fun to get to know people prior to the cruise even though in our situation we were never able to meet officially, but when we met on ship we were able to identify people from having talked with them for so many months. Then later when we shared pictures it was funny to see how many people caught us in their pictures and vice-versa.
Hopefully more people will begin to sign up on the boards soon. Talking to people who will be on your cruise and have been on other cruises is the best way to figure it all out before you go.

I forgot to mention that there are 4 of us going Myself, my Husband and our 2 kids. DD will be 13 and DS will be 9. I have so many ideas for FE gifts! It's so hard to wait to make anything. My Pinterest board has over 200 pins. Hopefully this next year will fly by

How fun one of my granddaughters is 13 - she will be 14 on the cruise and one of my grandsons is 10 - will be 11 on the cruise. My DD has tons of ideas on her pinterest also and my DIL is always thinking of new ideas for the FE. It is never to early to think of those things. We did everything so last minute last time I told them they have to get things done a lot earlier this year.

I've been looking thru threads on my phone trying to see if there are any other boards for our cruise and no luck. But there are crises right before ours and right after that have so much chatter....really kind of bummed

Welcome to our meet. We are so excited to meet you. We are already getting a lot of things organized for our FE this go round. This is our second cruise and the first one we didn't know how fun the FE really is so we are all buzzed about this one
What are the ages of the kids? My 8 grandkids are going with us, girls ages: 14, 7, 5 and about 8 months (looking to meet her in the next couple of weeks). Boys ages: 11, 7, 4 and 3. We are really excited about this cruise as we loved the first one.

I think if I am correct you are on the FE page on FB and we spoke the other day and told me about the FB page for our cruise at least I hope I am right lol Kids are 3 Girls 19, 16, 6 at the time of the cruise and my son will be 14 everyone is very excited I am glad we found out about the FE before the first cruise as my mom and I always love to surprised the kids with stuff when we go to Disney and now its gotten to be like now how do we top what we did last time this makes for even for fun and we get to meet new people as well as helps pass the time until the cruise so its a little more bearable

Yep, you're right l'm that Sue.
Your kids are going to have a blast with the FE. Last year we were having so much making the gifts but I really thought the items we got would be thrown away by the time we left. Boy was I wrong. We got some wonderful things and everytime we came back to the room our FE's were brusting with gifts. The kids kept wanting to go back to the room every so often to get their gifts.
It's so much fun to talk to others before the cruise. We had so many questions pop into our heads and we had people we were getting to know who could answer them and not think "now that's a stupid question". And when we were out and about we had people we ran into from our group all the time. We still talk on the other FB page and its been almost a year since the cruise.
