Disney without any kids..

If you have an owners locker be sure to stop by France on a Tuesday night and have a glass of wine with John. :thumbsup2

Make your dinner ADR's later in the evening (8:30 or later) and enjoy the restaurants when most of the young ones are not there. For an experience of a lifetime, try V&A. Yes, it is pricey but worth every penny...er dollar! Another great time is a window seat at Bistro de Paris to watch the fireworks while you dine. Then order the crepes for dessert and watch the CM flambe' them at your table! Ooh la la!! :)

Thanks to all for the suggestions.. leaving on a jet plane tomorrow.. can't wait to use the suggestions and most of all not look in the direction of a kid screaming... or the yelling of mom !!

Getting to make a big fool out of ourselves without our off spring dying of embarrassment, and the gutter stuff isn't too bad either (wink wink).

I sometimes think that Disney is wasted on the young. Sorry, that is for another thread. :thumbsup2

Adult only trips? Wow! Where to begin?!?

* Later adult type meals - Try Signatures restaurants and ones at the DD area
* The WS at a very leisurely pace
* Really every park at a very leisurely pace
* Tours - I highly recommend the Backstage Magic Tour
* Jellyrolls
* Sipping a drink and people watching most anywhere. But I highly recommend:
- The Bellvue Room
- Ragland Road
- Anywhere at WS (don't miss the wine tastings in Germany, Italy, and France)
* Really watching and enjoying the entertainment at WS

There really are so many things to do when it is just the two of you. Plus, add all the things that you do when you bring the kids. We have done MK and character meals when it is just the two of us too. This past trip we did some really great things like eat at the Wave and then head to CG for drinks, dessert, and watch the MK fireworks from the lounge. We also did a 5K run at AK. I really love bringing my kids and grandkids. But when it is just the two of us we come back so rested and really feel like we have been on a vacation.

We just finished our adults only trip last month... and it was wonderful!!!

We did things at our pace, enjoyed parks past bedtime, afternoon pool time with a drink and even a couple of naps. Sometimes, it's just nice to relax with quiet!

DW and I went on a weeklong trip to Disney by ourselves a few years ago.

It was really kind of nice. We hit more shows then usual, spent a bit more time at the pool, and we actually separated for a couple hours each day to do somethings we each wanted to do. DW hung out more at the pool and I would up spending a ton of time shooting pictures of the animals over at AK.

It was incredibly relaxing and we had a wonderful time.

We're empty nesters now, but when the kids were home we went twice without them. We have our next "adult trip" planned for leaving the day after Thanksgiving of 2012.

It's a different kind of trip, with just the two of us. We take park touring much slower then when we had kids in tow, and do rides the kids didn't like, or thought were "lame". We eat at the restraunts the kids wouldn't eat at also. I like to sit with a drink near the Liberty Square bridge and watch all the commandos go by. Now and then I'll strick up a conversation with someone else talking about our Disney experiences.

Just being the two of us at Disney is great fun!
