New to this
Planning holiday for Dec 2006 - yep that excited! - had 10 days in WDW in January 2005
Next year eldest will be nearly 5 - and youngest will be 1 (all going well)
Any advice re the 1 year old?
How busy is it at Christmas?
Is 3 weeks too long?
Bring it on

Hi,
I just bumped up the thread titled Disney Babies:Let's compile our best tips for the under 1 set!!! for you... Lots of info there!

To answer your other questions....NO I don't think 3 weeks is too long, but I'm a disney junkie, LOL. :)

The first two weeks of December are generally pretty low crowds and the last few weeks as you get nearer to Christmas day is one of the most crowded times of the year. What are your travel dates?

Deb's site Allearsnet.com says Christmas week through New Year's Day is one of the "Highest Attendance" times, historically.

hth and have a great trip!

Hope you like waiting in lines and dealing with hoards of people if going at Christmas! Youll have to get up early and go too-might not be easy with young ones. We went just after New Years this year and it was still crazy, though not as bad as Christmas. The monorail driver said the parks closed due to capacity being reached, all the monorails were running, and it was a madhouse. No thank you! Its hard enough with little ones going when its only a little busy (waiting in lines, pushing a stroller through a sea of people, etc) and I wouldnt want to do it when its jammed! I dont mean to burst your bubble, but it will be crowded. Just so youre prepared..... Wish I could go for three weeks! That would be awesome! Since you have that much time, maybe you could break things up and avoid the crowds a little. Goodluck!

When are you going? I've gone the 1st 2 weeks in december & it's great....who cares about crowds if you're there for 3 weeks...you'll have lots of down time anyway & since you have 21 days, who cares about lines. DON'T let anyone burst your bubble.
The 1 year old will be great & easy.

Thanks all
Plan was to cover the parks around Christmas and avoid them on the busy days (Christmas) - is it still busy on all the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Days?
Has anyone stayed in Animal Kingdom Lodge over Christmas
Rapidly becoming a Disney addict
Plan is to go 15th Dec 2006 for 21 days
Thank you again
