I originally wanted to do a real trip report but that seems too daunting so I figured I'd do a real quick review of some things that we experienced on our most recent trip. I also don't have pics to upload (because I'm computer illiterate), so I'll try not to be too boring. We were there Jan 23-27. We went with my parents, aunt, brother (who is a CM and didn't stay in the room) myself, husband and the star of the show: Lil Huff. That's 7 people if you're counting and that is way too many IMO. We wound up splitting up for most of the trip. We stayed at Saratoga Springs Resort in a 2 bedroom villa. Ready? Here we go!

The Trip Down: We drove and it took us around 7.5 hours. Lil Huff did great. We brought lots of toys and stopped once at the Florida line for him to play at the rest area.

The Resort: SSR was great for the space. There is a closet off what I would call the master bathroom and his pack and play fit perfect! We used the one the resort had and it came with clean sheets. We also brought his pillow and blanket and lovie so lots of familiarity from home. He slept wonderful the whole time, probably from exhaustion. The resort also has a high chair which we used. There is a boat to DTD from SSR or you can walk. We walked and it was very pretty.

Bus to parks: We didn't wait long for buses, but keep in mind SSR has multiple bus stops so we were in the resort for a good 15 min before we were on our way. Lil Huff HATED the bus. I'm not sure why but I think it's because we wouldn't let him walk around or sit in his own seat.

To be continued...

I brought a regular back pack into the parks and we used a Britax stroller from home. In the backpack I had diapers wipes and a change of clothes in a gallon zip top bag. In another gallon zip top bag I had his soppy cup and snacks (goldfish, applesauce pouches, and peanut butter crackers). We ate breakfast in the room every morning. Way easier for him.

Animal Kingdom: our first park! He loved Kilimanjaro safaris and the Pangai Trail because he could run wild. He fell asleep in his stroller while we did the other trail and also slept while my husband and I did the single rider line for Everest. We ate lunch ate Tusker House. He was really leery of the characters but he still ate a ton. After that we headed to DHS.

Hollywood Studios:Lil Huff loved Disney Jr. (Which I knew he would) and he also loved Voyage of the Little Mermaid. I was nervous because Ursula really is creepy but he loved it. We ate at Mama Melrose that night (this is where my brother works) and really this was too much. Having two TS meals in one day was overwhelming. That may work for some families but with just a stroller nap in him, Lil Huff was done--and so were mom and dad.

Magic Kingdom: We were here for rope drop and the welcome show--this is a MUST. We got so much done on this morning and Lil Huff loved everything! He lived watching tinker bell in three Peter Pan queue and he clapped at a Country Bears. There was honestly nothing he didn't like--except being told where to walk. We went back to the room this day and he took a 2 hour nap. We had Ohana for dinner and they gave him a special dessert. We went back to MK after dinner and he watched Tiki Birds and we did Jungle Cruise. My parents took him back to the room this night so DH and I stayed until closing and got to see the kiss goodnight!

One more park and final thoughts!
