Disney with a nanny

DH and I never really take time away. So we aren't even really planning much. (We're going in January with my sibs, their spouses and my parents, so we each get at least one night no kids) Thought we might do Jack Lindsey's if it's a non park night, but hoping we can work it for EPCOT for a bit too. Just hanging out together without our son will be great, but we've also never been to Disney so anything we do will be new. We may just get a drink at our resort and get handsy. :D

We've had grandparents along on two of our trips, and they watched the kids for one evening each time so DW & I could go to dinner and/or spend a later night in the parks. This year when we had a 6-year-old and a 2-year-old it was also nice because we could take turns taking older DD to the pool or arcade while YDD napped, so it wasn't just me or DW stuck sitting in the room alone with the napping baby. It was also nice to just be able to pop down to the food court or gift shop together after the kids were in bed and have an extra adult to stay in the room with them.

I don't know that I'd ever bring paid help on a vacation (DW is a stay-at-home mom so we don't have a regular nanny) but an extra adult is handy especially when there are different ages of kids with different needs involved.
