Disney with a Micro Preemie, whould we go?

I had my daughter at 31 weeks I knew before I had her that she was going to be smaller then what she should be. She was 1 lb 13 oz and 13 inches at birth. She came home at 4 lbs 2 oz just 4 days before her due date. She is now 17 has a seizure disorder and asthma but other then that healthy. I would wait that first year can have many ups and downs. and premies can catch anything real easy. It may not be flu season then but there are other hidden viruses that can be picked up like chicken pox ect....

I agree with the others and would not take a chance on taking her.
My personal recommendation would be to not take any 5 month old because there is very little that a child that young would get out of the trip and there are lots of things that will be difficult for them - heat, sun, change to routine.

I would wait until the baby is over a year old, or whatever is recommended by your doctors.

If she is doing well, you might decide to leave her with someone else and still take a trip with the rest of your family or to just put off the trip entirely until she is old enough to go.
