Disney with 3 Babies?

I have a quick question. We are going to Disney in September for a week. There will be 2 adults and 3 15-month olds (triplets). SInce it is so hard to get them in and out of their stroller and hold them the whole time we are in line, do you think that we woiuld be allowed to let 1 adult wait in line while the other adult stays with the kids at the end. THen when the one adult gets to the front, we all jump in on the ride. Like using the handicapped entrance for small world, peter pan, pooh, etc? Also in the shows like Philharmagic, would it be possible to leave the babies in the stroller and push them into the theatre? I was just curious. They cannot walk yet, so that is out of the question.

That's a tough one. I think it will be hard to manage no matter how you do it. Any chance of another adult or two joining you for the trip? What kind of stroller do you have? A Runabout should fit most anywhere IF they will let you bring it in.

What about some carriers like a Maximom? http://www.twinstuff.com/twinstore2003_12.htm

DH could carry two and you could carry one.

We went with 3.5 year old twins (and a 7 year ) one parent would ride with the oldest DS son and a twin. Getting on and off some of the continuously moving rides was difficult. Dad, who was in in the front (or front car) would get off with a kid and I would hand him a boy and than help the other off. I am trying to picture how to do this with 15 month olds easily.

bumping for you- hope all goes well - I'm freaking out over bringing one 15 month old that has just learned to walk and hates to stand still or be held! Hope you have a magical vacation!!!

Carriers are a definite must for non-walkers. We took our then 11-month old twins and the carriers helped simplify soooo much.

I have seen CMs stop strollers at the door of some attractions.Perhaps you would want to get a GAC in this situation. I'm trying to picture how you are going to get 3 non-walking babies on & off the rides. This does not sound pleasant to me. Anyway you could get Grandma or someone to go along to help?

I see a couple of issues - Many of the rides have lines that start outside and then enter a building and weave and curve through to the entrance of the ride. The waiting parent couldn't see the other, and there would be no way to hand off a baby and climb into the line.

Also, I don't think they are going to allow the stroller - even into shows. You could certainly ask, but I seriously doubt it.

Have you considered backpack carriers? Or bringing a third adult (Grandma, close friend, or even a babysitter) to help out? I know of a few families who brought a teenage cousin or friend along (paid for their trip too) to provide an extra set of hands.

Get a front carrier for you, and a front and a back carrier for DH. My BBG didn't walk until 17-20 months, and we did this for outings where we couldn't use the stroller. They were still tiny, so the weight wasn't an issue. Had a Snugli front for us both, and a backpack type for DH's back. I helped him load/unload.

Good luck and have fun! Can't beat free at this age!

I am not sure about the lines, but I don't think you are going to be able to push the stroller into the theatre. Are they walking, maybe a child leash would be helpful and try ro use fast pass as much as possible. I was wondering if you plan on renting a car. We found it much easier then getting on/off the buses with 3 kids and 2 strollers. Good luck

Love the new pic! We always do "step" pictures too. Your kids are adorable. BTW, when I was pg, my Dad called them "Huey, Dewey, and LOUISE"

:goodvibes thanks, anyway to contain them so they stay still long enough for a pic. That's funny my mother actually called them Mo, Larry and Curly. How is your planning coming along, getting close.

If the OP doesn't have carriers yet, I really suggest she look at the Maximom. We liked it because the baby can stay in the body carrier part while we just snapped the straps on and off.

You can wear two babies - either front and back or both on your front OR you can wear all three babies if you can carry the weight - two on your front and one on your back.

You can tell how old my kids are by the "old" equipment we used! :rotfl:
