First of all welcome to the boards...Most toddlers can go on many things and most shows. Hall of Presidents is a great place to nap with little ones...

Hi! Welcome! You will have a blast with the 2 year old. Best time ever watching our DD2's expressions seeing everything. We didn't take her on Haunted Mansion (too scary). I would not recommend taking 2 year old (or even a 3 year old) on the new Nemo ride at Epcot. I had no idea it would be in the dark for most of it, and poor little thing cried and screamed in terror the whole time. We took her on everything else that we could with no problems (height restrictions let you know what you can't). She loved the characters from a distance, but not up close. She really enjoyed playing in the water fountain jumping sprinklers at Epcot. Had to tear her away from them. Just changed her clothes right after 'cause she was soaked. Oh, before I forget, she did hate Dumbo. Doesn't like going up in the air, but she enjoyed watching others ride it. Her absolute fave was watching all the ducks there are all over DW. She would squeal in delight. And we did take mid-day breaks from about 2:30-6:00. Went to room and she slept for 2 hours. At home she goes to bed at 8PM every night, but there she was up until midnight every night. Adjusted perfectly when we got home Friday. Have a blast and take lots of pictures!! We took our camcorder also, but never even thought to use it. It was too cumbersome to carry every day, so we only did it every other day and would forget we had it. We took our own stroller so we could store everything in the basket underneath while walking. Then we took the bags with our belongings on the rides with us. Make sure you have a rain stroller cover. It was a lifesaver.

Hi! We just recently got back from taking our 2.5 yr. old twins. They had so much fun! We only did MK and Epcot this trip, but some of the highlights for the twins were:
Toontown: Goofy's Barnstormer, and the little playground
Tommorrowland: Buzz Lightyear, TTA
Fantasyland: the teacups, Pooh, Mickey's Philharmagic, and of course, Small World
Adventureland: Alladin's Carpets, Jungle cruise, and the Tikki Statues that spit water (they loved that most of all, I think!) They were very scared on Pirates, though.

Epcot: Journey into Imagination, Nemo, Mexico pavillion, and the little playgroung in the world showcase, eating deserts in France. I know they would have loved the Maelstrom, but it was being refurbished at the time.

My girls really just loved being able to get out of the stoller and walk around in a public place! (holding our hands of course.) We would park the stroller, walk from ride to ride, then they would be so tired that they would actually climb in the stroller themselves to rest....unbelievable! At home they hate the stroller!

But really, they had a great time, even with limited attractions to participate in.

DD was only 2 the first time we took her. She enjoyed all the rides in Fantasyland (It's a Small World was her fave, drove her dad nuts to ride it 4 times!!!) She also LOVED the Stars & Motor Cars Parade at MGM. It has all sorts of characters that the other parades do not have.

She was not so happy about the 3D movie attractions, so we took off her glasses and let her snuggle in on dad's lap--then she was OK. She liked Pirates (not scared at all--loved to watch for the dog in different scenes--she loves dogs).

2 year olds definitely notice different things than adults do...everything is amazing to them and since they are short (obviously), different things are at their eye level. I think it was a nice way to experience WDW (through the eyes of a young child). In fact, this year she will have her own camera (she is now 3 1/2) because I want to see more from her viewpoint (and I don't want her bugging me for my camera all the time).
